what i thought is that otherside is philza with the calmness to it and pigstep is techno. So i was thinking philza meets young techno in the nether then just takes techno with him on his adventures and then the time that it’s just otherside again it’s phil and techno parting ways while phil is working on hardcore, then it goes back to both of them being together and meeting up finding tommy and wilbur along the way :]
