Gillian Jacobs reflects on her experiences playing “messy” characters on “Community” and “Love” as a “sedate” person in real life. She shares why she has a soft spot for “Community” character Britta Perry and her excitement for reuniting with the cast for a movie this summer. “I think that we are bonded to each other for life,” she said. “It's the closest I have to siblings I think.”
And Jacobs shares the historical inspiration behind her new Netflix series “Transatlantic.” Her character, heiress Mary Jayne Gold, is not messy, she says, but her choices will make you think.
