    More v4 forefront cushioning was much needed on my long runs. The rocker sole also help with my stride and pace. It’s a shoe that you forget you’re wearing.

    I have all three plus the Invincible Run 2 and, for me, the only one I don't like is the new Invincible Run 3. The ride is not as bouncy and fun as the v2 and I just can't dial in a good fit with it. I'd get heel slippage or too much pressure around the mid-foot area if I try to get a better lockdown. I'd always end up re-lacing during the middle of the runs and, when I do find a good balance between comfort and lockdown, it doesn't last long and I'd get slippage, which is extremely annoying. I'd tolerate it more if the ride was better but the shoe is massive and clunky to run in. It feels heavier than it looks and just isn't a fun ride for me. The Invincible Run 3 has been a major disappointment for me because I really like v2, which has the bounciest ride and a certain "magic" to it. To me, v3 does not have it at all.
    I really like both Nimbus 25 and the More v4. The Nimbus 25's comfort is really more about the plush upper, stretchy tongue, and the fit. The midsole provides a balanced feel (not too soft and too firm) but has plenty of cushion for impact protection. The ride is comfortable and smooth but isn't bouncy and exciting like it is on the Invincible Run 2 or something like the Adidas Prime X Strung. For me, it's for easy/slow/recovery kinds of runs at 8~9'/mile paces but it can handle faster paces pretty well too.
    The More v4 is a pretty unique shoe. It looks massive (almost like a clown shoe when you look down on it on your feet) but doesn't feel as heavy and clunky as it looks. The ride isn't soft and bouncy like on the Invincible Run 2 (or 3) but it is still very pleasant. You sink a bit on foot-strike impact and then roll forward smoothly. I'd liken the ride's feel to that of running barefoot on wet sand on a beach. You won't run fast on it but it's a nice feeling underfoot and you just enjoy the run.
    That's my take on these max-cushioned shoes. The Invincible Run 3 looked so promising but it just didn't work out for me. I know that some people like it and would consider it an improvement over v2. It seems to address the shortcomings of the v2 (like stability and the overall look) but, to me, it seems all the updates just made it worse. The Nimbus 25 and More v4 are similar but the rides are quite different. The Nimbus 25 gets the edge in upper comfort but I prefer the midsole feel and ride of the More v4. You can pick up the pace on the Nimbus 25, but the More v4 kind of forces you to run easy and slow, which is a good thing when you want to recover.

      i second this. the nike has heel slippage & can’t get a good fit. I ran 4 miles on it and felt like running on really unstable thick flip flops. even when using it at work where i’m on my feet 12 hours, it’s not any good. avoid at all cost.

      Good take here. I have the Nimbus 25 and liked it so much I bought a second, all white pair for walking and casual use. I will say, if you are a heavier guy like myself(6’5 ) i always prefer the fresh foam in new balance and i love the more series. Im not really looking for bounciness, im looking for impact protections and it feels the best under my feet. My kneecaps feel like new money when I’m done. Also the fact that i Can get my width makes nike and asics never a consistent viable option over new balance.

    • @grey5135
      @grey5135 Год назад

      It sounds like you're talking about standing around in them when you say "correct your position" and that might be your problem these are running shoes these are not meant for heavy people to just stand around in you need shoes with support more than cushion and they're literally meant for running not standing there's other shoes that are designed for standing that are made for security guards and people who stand a lot. That might be your issue is that your trying to use a running shoe and your not running wich is what it's designed for. If I'm jist misunderstanding then I apologize and forgot what I said if your actually running in them. But I'm also heavy and if I'm not running you will never catch me in running shoes because they do suck for stability they're mostly meant for shock absorption and energy return. I'm 6'3 225 and I am like a big building with a marshmallow foundation when I wear high cushion running shoes and I'm not running lol. May I recommend Altra shoes if you need a comfortable cushion shoes to wear when not running. Good luck my heavy brother 🤙... it's hard because most of these Runners are like 130 to 170 lb and what feels really cushiony for them can really just collapse underneath the heavier person's foot so I know the struggle. Brooks makes the best shoes for heavier people in my humble opinion. I'd suggest taking a look at the Brooks Glycerin 20, or the Adrenaline 23. See if you can try them on somewhere. Most Runners will say that they're not very squishy but that's because most Runners are not very heavy people but they feel squishy for heavy Runners because they just have a more robust foam that feels firm to light people but soft to heavy people. Check em out.

      I’ve had the More V4 for 2 months now and after watching a ton of reviews with many RUclipsrs the stability was a common theme, and I totally agree. The way I would characterize the More V4 is that it is the most consistent across all characteristics that you look for in a shoe. The other shoes may have higher highs in certain categories but have greater lows also. The More V4 is great across the board.

    I personally loved the invincible 1 and 2. Being an overpronator and having flat feet, those versions really helped me deal with pains on the tibia and fibula. No other stable shoe ever helped me that way. I think the 1 and 2 versions were kind of squishy but stable, I really loved running in those shoes. I really really dislike (h4t3) invincible 3, I personally think Nike ruined this shoe, it really feels like a completely different shoe from 1 and 2, it’s way more firm and stiff, specially on the front of the shoe. I does feel kind of plushy on the heel, maybe because of the higher heel material, but I was really used to that stable and shorter heel. Also the materials from the shoe look cheap, kind of like a thin layer of plastic, highly doubt they’re long time lasting. I still have my invincible 1 from. 4 or 5 years ago and they’re the best. I regret buying 2 new pairs of the 3 on the members day sale. I will try the ASICS now.

I recently reviewed and compared these three pairs of running shoes and decided to buy the New Balance Fresh Foam because I really liked how they felt when I tried them on in the store. However, after wearing them for running, I’ve experienced heel fatigue and a strange pain in the arch of my foot. It seems the inner part of the midsole has a very pronounced arch that is causing discomfort. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and could share their feedback, or if it might just be an issue specific to me. Thanks.

    sur l'amorti ou sur le confort ! Résultat !?! Échec total ! Cette nouvelle gel25 nous plante grave sur le bitume mais pire que ça ! elle ne provoque aucune envie de courir avec et pourquoi ?? Allez-vous me dire ?
