I had an amazing correspondence with Richard Sammel, the actor playing the German officer in this scene. He explained how this was filmed...and that he actually took a hit to the head with a foam bat. While a fake body was used in a lot of the scene, he told me he was nervous when Donowitz stomped around him on the ground for fear he would be stepped on! 😅
Id say stupidity rather than bravery dying for a dictator who gave a sh_t about his life and most of the German people were terrified of the 3rd Reich/Nazis and only went along out of terror. Id call that something other than bravery, Id call it a conditional fear response especially on the losing side of the rest of the free world (hell even the Russians) working to wipe you from the face of the earth with such resolve they wouldn't stop until Hitler himself and his inner circles were dead.

Only those who are united to Christ by faith can be forgiven, as their sins have already been paid for by a perfect sacrifice.
