Freeze drying gummy Nerds candy.

Freeze drying gummy nerds candy. It took 21 hours . I do not have candy mode.
I liked the candy freeze dried, but I preferred it in its original state.

We have had such a hard time having consistent batches with nerds clusters! Any advice?

i really don't. i have an old machine , so i do not have a candy mode. i use the regular freeze dry settings. I have never had an issue. make sure the nerds are good brand. Fresher candy works better. A person posted an answer for the new machines with candy mode on a response on one of my nerds videos. they detailed settings, etc. Good luck.

i was told, and believe, that old candy will not puff up very well. i just had this happen with suckers i bought last year and didn't use til this year. They puffed great last year, but what i had left over and used this year didn't do well.
