I started playing a save I stopped playing around 2 years ago. I had all of the chambers and cores unlocked. Somehow they got reset and only a few are unlocked and none of the cores are unlocked. The game actually recognized the save as a new save and I pretty much started like a fresh save. I am getting rewards that wasn't available when I played the save. Starting a new save with a base full of resources is definitely a lot easier.
@@VaingloriousGaming I did. I didn't expect the game to reset most of the chambers and all of the cores. I do like the rewards from the missions. when i stopped playing this save I started another save and got the rewards on that save.
I keep hearing that, but I tried it on both steam and xbox game pass and it didn't work. I originally included that info in the video, but removed it when I could not validate it first hand. I tried it several times on both platforms and, each time, the hydrazine just vanished from existence when the jet pack was shredded.
interesting. so if you've use the jump to load hydrazine into jet pack, it won't work. that explains why it never worked for me; I almost always do a little jump to get the hydrazine to auto-slot to the jet pack. but, if full canisters are the requirement, I dunno, doesn't seem worth including in the course, tbh. Seems like you'd just make a new canister of hydrazine rather than scrap your jet pack, yeah?
Jetpack + portable oxygenator truly opens worlds for exploration. Thanks for the videos.
Also, the hoverboard. The VTOL opens up exploration the best for me.

you can try to force your charactor to be "sliding down" a steep cliff to remove fall damage before your slide down in emergency

sounds like maybe you started that save before missions. They were definitely way easier to complete with an existing save than on a new one :)
