Great info and well explained, I'm going to test my switches as my ac and compressor clutch stopped all of a sudden when the air was good and cold. There were no noises like I've heard from clutches going out, so I think maybe it's a switch because fuses and relays are testing good.
And finally, someone who cares enough about their car to keep the engine bay clean. Everyone else on YT are doing tutorials with dirtiest and nastiest engine bays on the planet, lol.

It’s supposed to. It’s supposed to stop like time out, but it’s not doing that like my switch that’s supposed to stop accelerate or something like that it’s not working

If the switch is faulty would the out cover plate still spin with the pully whether the air-con is on or off as I can't hear the compress clutch clicking?

  • @kanenstuff

Watching a bunch of videos as my aircon in my E36 325i will not turn on until driving the car for 30mins or so, sometimes its working and freezing over. If its turned on its cold, but unless the green light is on there too much moisture and wil cause mold in th hot humid Asian climate. So if its cold and no green light is on I cant use it if I park it in the sun them it works its a weird issue.

I'm pretty sure the high pressure line has the smaller diameter, and the low pressure line is fatter. The service port caps should be labelled L and H to identify clearly.

Theres a valve BEHIND the pressure switch on my truck just like the low line. Youre supposed to change them ALL at the same time to avoid a leak happening in one of the other ones. They sell a kit. Comes with 2 caps for the high and low lines. 2 shrader valves ans a valve for the high line under $15
