I edc a m&p 2.0 4.6” 10mm half the time. DPP titanium plate adapter, holosun 407a3x2, testing the Olight pl3r on it, right now I like it better than the tlr1-hl, I have the new trigger shoe from Galloway precision which essentially makes it a single stage trigger but all stock internals. Really like it. Extremely minimal take up, stock pull weight, and very fast small reset. Awesome pistol.
Awesome build! I recently did this to my M&P as well. I found a full size frame with all internals and new trigger and just threw my compact slide on it and runs like a sewing machine and it just looks awesome, no complaints!
I own an M&P 2.0 C.O.R.E series with ported 4.25" barrel and a Spec series Bullshark Grey with 4.65" barrel on a compact frame. I put a Griffin armament aftermarket barrel with micro comp in it. Just shot a competition that I couldn't use the ported barrel. I put the slide from my compact spec series on my full-size frame with the Griffin 4.65" barrel without comp to shoot the competition. After the competition, I shot it with the comp and shot the 4.25 " ported barrel slide on the compact frame. I actually like both of the swapped combos better than the original setups.
I like it. I get tighter groups @ 25yrds than with the stock barrel. And you can tell the difference in muzzle rise during bill drills and such. Easier to keep track of dot during rapid fire strings. I recommend it. My kids got it for my father's day gift last year
I wanted to do the same thing soon as I bought my compact, but could not find much info so thanks for making this video! I ended up just using the 17 rd mag with the sleeve adapter for the "full size" grip. Still contemplating swapping the frame like you did, just have some concern with compatibility.. I'snt the recoil spring different between the two sizes? So that could potentially cause malfunctions putting the smaller one in a longer frame? Maybe other internal differences.. Can you speak to that at all , have you had any malfunctions after this video? Thank you I appreciate any helpful tips on this!
@aysimports thank you for the question! No, zero malfunctions since the swap. Every part from the compact frame is compatible with the full size frame. The recoil spring is only a problem if you put it in a full size slide.
You could have just added a magwell to the compact and you'd probably liked that as well as it does provide a rest for that pinky and provide a way to reload quicker.
I have gone this route in the past. I do not really care for the way the compact magwell attached to the frame. The full size is a little different and kind of hooks on. I am looking for different companies right now to see if someone makes a little different method. I have looked at Taylor and floyds only.
Funny bc i actually want to buy a Full sz Frame with Apex trigger from Ed Brown website… and put my 3.6 slide on it and have edge of front cut down to be flush to end of slide/barrel
Hey Dude… is your Metal 2.0 frame same size as your Full sz Polymer frame? I got relatively big hands and dont think i’ll like the Compact grip… So just wanna be sure before i buy
@revvaddictz yes, i doubt you'll like the compact grip. I wear size xl in viktos gloves and my pinky hangs off the compact. That is the sole reason i got the full size frame. I hope this helps.
Everybody is going to the M&P
People finally realize the saucyness of this platform
This is very true, and I'm loving it!

Sounds like you have a pretty slick setup! I've never heard of DPP or Galloway. I'll have to look into them.

Absolutely, best decision I made for it!

@carlosdaniels9515 yeah, I occasionally swap out slides also. How are you liking the griffin? I've been wanting to get one.
