I thought I was watching a 10k plus subscriber channel, completely surprised to see the views and like count. You have great talent, keep up the good work!
With the latest update to 5.10, I decided to take the plunge and get it on switch, it was also 60% off. I could not believe how many changes it has gotten for free across all platforms, although I do understand that switch doesn't have multiplayer . It's fun so far and if I find it too limiting I may get a gaming PC to play it on
I finally finished the living ship quest last night after starting it a few years ago. Reason being that I put the game down for a while and could never properly pick back up where I left off. The current expedition was a great reintroduction to gameplay mechanics and provided the momentum to finish the ship quest. I’ve never deleted NMS off my PS5 for the simple fact that it improves and I always find ways to stay engaged.
I love the game... It's so much more relaxing than the toxic environments of other games like Eve Online and Star Citizen... Elite Dangerous is also pretty good in solo mode so you can do what you want without being bothered by other players...
I'm playing NMS right now, it's the most fun and relaxing game I've played in a while. Just finished my first expedition, I really hope they make those replayable so that newer players like me can enjoy the content and rewards.
@@austinstoner6270 Depends on the model. PSVR2 connects to your ps5 via a USB cable in the front. some PC headsets can be played wirelessly like the meta quest 3 or use wired connections like the valve index. id look into either the PSVR 2 or meta quest 3 as they currently are priced quite nicely (around 500 usd) and are high spec for the price. PSVR2 has the advantage of having certain exclusives not on PC like resident evil 4 remake and resident evil village BUT sony has also just announced a new connector releasing in august where you can use your PSVR 2 with your playstaion AND PC vr games if you have the system to run them. its a great time for VR :)
@ProgrammistMusic that's what I thought. I've got a pc with nvidia 3070, i9-13000k processor, and 64 gigs of ram. Not the best gpu but she's got all the processing power I need. Trying to get a 3090 founders edition for xmas
This was the perfect video for me. I haven’t played in a long time and had no idea what all the updates had added, so this was super helpful. Great video bro 🤝
I would not expect HG to stop working on new updates any time soon. They sit on a lot of money with NMS still selling well. If anything working on Light No Fire will mean more updates, as it most likely shares a lot of technology with NMS so why not port it back. And its what they did in Worlds part 1
I am interested in playing it on my Macbook Air M1 2020 thank you. In fact I just downloaded it yesterday and it works like a charm. Now all I need is a controller cause the keyboard is really impractical. You hatred and disgust of the Mac platform can be heard. However, you shouldn't dismiss Mac as a gaming platform. The fact that M1 still can make games run decently like it's 2013 on PS4 and virtually all PC games can be converted in 3 hours makes this whole ecosystem a viable platform for publishers.
I mean i think they won't slow down, because that game has still lot of players and that world update can bring lot of new players mainly if they would focus more on multiplayer
It is an amazing game in my top 3 I can't wait to try it in V.R. I played for years on xbox and recently got a pc. Modded nms ark and subnautica are amazing
I think I was one of the few people who actually enjoyed the game at launch. Like it wasn’t bad at all, the only thing was that they promised more. But for the content that was in the game at the time it was really good in my opinion
I also agree. I kinda just pointed out that the large majority of people were upset with the state of the game when it came out. I see what you were saying though.
Everytime i come back to play this game its like i play totally new different game... And always im lost with where i ended and what i should do and how... xD
I was thinking about it. Lots of other people already covered it but I figured I'd throw my thoughts on it in as well. I've been so busy the past few weeks, hence the severe lack of uploads. But stay tuned for it on the channel!
The game is great, but there's still a lot of problems, particularly with multiplayer. Hope they can fix them, but there's some problems still going on since 2021
Holy Christ I remember being excited for this at release and how disappointing the physical game was. Now it looks insanely detailed and everything I expected when it was first teased.
Cool game but it crashes if i dont disable the multiplayer... I suppose this is my old graphic. I am in a gane since 2016 and remember all issues and updates. No i play it again from start after 9 yrs 🤗
only thumbing this down because I get sick to death of wannabi gamers who always call this game a disaster at launch or something contriversial, how pathetic the gaming community channel has become becasue they A just dont understand the lauch of the game via Sony and B drag this up every single time. ITS GETTIN boring so how about just praising where its duw, how many other game developers can YOU mention that have supplied free updates for over 8 years please name them here so your channel viewers can see them, I would strongly start thinking about how you write your scripting, because there are many many players of this game that had no issues with it at lauch, just people maybe like yourself that expected to much or over hyped it in the first place.!!!
Actually, I was one of the people who enjoyed the game very much at launch and has continued to play the game consistently since. The general population of people who bought this game had issues at launch because of their expectations. I have always believed in this game and I literally have group chats with my friends from almost 10 years ago where all I would do is talk about the game and that was the sole purpose of those group chats. When everyone stopped playing, I kept playing. The point of videos like these is not to give my own bias opinion, but the opinions and facts about the games that many people are familiar with and understand to be true. But I do appreciate you making the assumption so I could reply to this comment with some context for anyone else to see who has the same thoughts. Thanks!
Yeah, how dare people who bought NMS based on the pre-release marketing that extensively used vertical slices and pre-rendered footage as actual game play footage and promised features that wouldn't appear in the game until 2 years after it's launch, even though Sean Murray would swear they were already implemented. It's objective fact that this game was a disaster at launch, and you have your head in the sand if you think otherwise, sure you can say you enjoyed the game at release (possibly because you have extremely low standards), that's completely up to you, but to insult people that rightly state that the game was no where near the product that was promised by HG during pre-launch marketing (bordering on bait and switch) is just ignorant.
its a niche title its not everyones cup of tea but for those who enjoy its one of the most magical experiences its about the journey not the destination its a chill relaxing exploration game with some pretty incredible sights to behold
@@bugboy9915 you can say that about literally any bad game. Look at Ark Survival Evolved, widely considered to be a terrible game, but it still had until recently upwards of an 80k player 24hr peak and people that have thousands of hours played.
I was going to say something along these lines. The only good thing HG has done since release is add expeditions, literally the only thing that gives a reason to play the game beyond 20-30 hours. 8 years of updates (a good 80% of which have just been them making the game look like it did in all the vertical slices and pre-rendered footage and adding the stuff that was promised prior to release) and the game the game still suffers from the fundamental issue that there's just not really much to do (outside of expeditions, which are mostly just made up of reusing existing assets in a very simple linear quest line). Once you've unlocked the glyphs and visited about 20 planets, snagged a few ships, you've pretty much seen all that NMS has to offer. I mean, it has a base building aspect that might amuse serious survival builder players for an hour or 2, but most of the game is just super boring repetitive grinding of the same content for a slim to non-existent chance to get that S class whatever.

I want to get a vr headset. Tell me are they self contained or do they link to your pc or console?
