The team leader should have treated the flight attendant with empathy, then she would not have lost her job.

Update: After Talia was fired, she did try suing for wrongful termination only to lose. And another passenger recorded her behavior, and it went viral. Talia ended up also getting dumped by her boyfriend because of the video. She now works at a bar as a dishwasher and is constantly kicking herself. Maria was promoted to a team leader and helped make the plane experience feel like heaven on earth

Maria's reaction to spilling the tea, would be my exact reaction. Period. And I would hate to be berated like that by my boss like that. I would worry about being a perfectionist at work. One mistake or more would put me at risk for being fired.

Narrator: Maria was promoted shortly after Talia was fired and eventually got used to the role. She immediately started making it easier for her fellow flight attendants to balance work and a personal life, as well as treating them with empathy and respect. Talia tried suing the airline for wrongful termination, but her lawyer realized that, after speaking with Jason Lark, along with some of Talia’s old coworkers, she was completely out of line and decided not to take her case. Talia was soon blacklisted at every other airline in America. She now works as a motel housekeeper for minimum wage.

(yells at Talya) THIS IS FOR NO EMPATHY! (slaps her) THAT IS FOR NOT BUYING HER APOLOGY! (slaps her mouth) FOR BEING INDIFFERENT TO THINGS BEYOND HER CONTROL AND TO HER DAUGHTER! (slaps her mouth again) FOR USING IT BEING A BUSINESS AS AN EXCUSE TO SHAME HER FOR THINGS SHE COULDN'T HELP! (slaps her mouth again) FOR COMPARING HER TO ANYONE ELSE! DO YOU REALLY THINK BERATING HER FOR THAT IS REALLY GOING TO *HELP* HER BE ON TIME NO MATTER WHAT?! WELL, IT WON'T! (slaps her mouth) THAT'S FOR THREATENING TO FIRE HER FOR MAKING A HARMLESS MISTAKE OR FOR AN EXCUSE, NO MATTER HOW LEGIT OR UNCONTROLLABLE IT IS! (punches her mouth) FOR BERATING HER FOR AN ACCIDENT SHE COULDN'T CONTROL! (punches her mouth) FOR PUTTING THE AIRLINE'S REPUTATION OVER MARIA'S WELL-BEING! (punches her mouth) FOR REFUSING HER EXCUSES NO MATTER WHAT! (punches her mouth) FOR BERATING HER FOR A LACK OF CONFIDENCE, WHICH IS ALL YOUR FAULT! DO YOU REALLY THINK BERATING HER IS GONNA MAKE HER PERFECT?! WELL, IT WON'T! SEE HOW IT FEELS TO BE BERATED?! THE DIFFERENCE IS IT WAS NOT FAIR WHEN YOU GAVE IT, AND IT WAS WHEN YOU GOT IT! (slaps her again) FOR BERATING THE PASSENGER WHEN HE *FAIRLY* STOOD UP FOR HER! (slaps her mouth) FOR TRYING TO APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR BEHAVIOR *JUST* BECAUSE HE PROVED HIMSELF THE CEO, AFTER *YOU* DIDN'T BUY IT WITHOUT PROOF! IN SHORT, THAT WAS FOR KISSING UP JUST TO SAVE YOUR (bleep)! (chokes her) FOR THREATENING TO MAKE JASON SORRY FOR *FAIRLY* FIRING YOU AND NEVER GIVING YOU ANOTHER CHANCE! IT WAS NOT FAIR WHEN YOU WERE INDIFFERENT TO MARIA'S SITUATION, AND WHEN YOU WERE RECEIVING THE INDIFFERENCE, THAT WAS! (puts soap in her mouth) FOR VOWING TO SUE THE AIRLINES FOR JUSTICE! AND NO SINCERE APOLOGIES FOR YOU, EVER! And another thing, your job loss was FUNNY! So, HA HA HA! :P

Maria was rudely talked down to by Talia, there was no empathy from Talia. All before taking off for a flight, the words were too harsh and unkind. Unknown to either of them one of the passengers aboard the flight is an undercover Boss. It's tough balancing job and family, but this Team Leader is too belligerent and unprofessional, she needs a serious sacking. Maria will get the promotion and the chance to care for her daughter. She was apologetic for the tea strewn on the passenger due to turbulence, it meant professionalism. Supermission Squad, be careful how we all handle everything, the tone in our voice can hurt or uplift others!!! Say goodbye, Talia, you made a serious blunder!!!!

What a joke . The CEO of any company would never stand for an employee like Maria. They are all about money and success. They don't care about your problems. You can't run a business that way. It may seem harsh, but it's reality. I would say that Talia should've taken her aside and fired her, and not done it in the open. Seems like Maria has been a bad employee, always late, making mistakes. She should've had everything with child care set, and she needs to get up earlier so she can get to work on time with all the traffic. After a while, excuses don't cut it
