Hi! Thank you for your video. I'm doing a weft faced wool rug on my loom but I'm dealing with way to much draw in to beat it, I'm using a hand beater, it looks great. But I'm not sure Why the draw in so much. I'm gonna get a temple hopefully soon.
This video is absolutely full of great tips! I have a rigid heddle loom but will eventually get a floor loom, it makes so much sense to change sheds then beat! Is it the same principal for a RH loom?
This was very helpful!! I couldn’t get the weft to cover the warp but your method works fantastic!! Thank you.

A temple will help a lot. Chances are you aren't putting enough weft in. In other words a bigger "hill" of yarn laid in across the warp.
Good tips for weaving. Thank you!

I have almost no experience with rigid heddle looms. I think it probably makes sense to just go to the other shed like we do...
Thanks
thank you for your video. Where did you find a shuttle like you are using?
They are all very old and hand made.
this looks pretty inefficient for weaving.
It's what works if you want to do a weft-faced weave. But it is slower by nature than most balanced weaves.
