I love your channel. Your weavings are exquisite. I know this is an odd comment.... In one of your videos I got a look from a distance at a project calculator form that you were holding. I believe it may have been in the old Debbie Reddings' book. If it's the same form, I absolutely loved it. I cannot find it anywhere. If this is the form, would you mind emailing me a copy? Thanks so much

Hi Jill, I'm sorry for the delayed response. I missed seeing your comment earlier. The project form I use is one I developed for my own use. It's not something that I send out. I hope you have found something that works for you.

Hi Karen. Really nice and clear explanation. What kind of yarn and size are you using for this one? I'm aiming to make something similar. Thank you ❤️

The warp and weft threads for these towels is 22/2 Cottolin by Bockens. The towels are soft and super absorbent. Thank you!

Thanks for this clear video! I’m curious, why 3cm overlap with the previous color but not with the start of the new color? I usually overlap both, folding the 3cm start of the weft in with the second pick. Also, with thicker weft yarns especially I’ve noticed things can get uneven if I join on the same side every time so I join on the other side to even that out, is that something you do at all?

Thanks for the great question. You certainly can tuck in the weft tail of the ending color, and tuck in the weft tail of the new color. I do this if the colors don’t blend well at the edge. One reason to overlap only once is to reduce the thickness of wefts at the edge. You are right that thicker weft yarns can build up at the edge. In that case, I alternate the sides for joining the threads, like you describe. By overlapping the weft only once I usually don’t have to do that, but it’s good to watch out for it. Thanks! Karen
