"Deadweight" (wipe reserves and tap weight) feels like a good combination for a cop. You can make yourself light when chasing a suspect, then heavy when you catch them while wiping their reserves if they have any.

I think you could burn metals while storing wakefulness. Vin, while unconscious and dying, burned pewter reflexively to stay alive, and it was implied that this was a technique that just took familiarity with the metal. So, with enough practice, I think you could unconsciously burn any metal if you conditioned your body to use it while asleep, like you do with pewter when you are injured.

Powernapper is the most expensive caffeine replacement ever

a powernapper might be a pretty good combo for a scholar or scientist. rather than trying to store their wakefullness in their time bubble, they could tap it to pull the equivalent of an all-nighter of study in just a few minutes outside time

I think starpuller is a tier above battery because of the bodyguard aspect, sleeping on the job is one of the worst things a bodyguard can do and bronze helps

Aluminum wiping all internal Investiture--including anything someone else has put into you--is inferred from the WoB you quoted, but it also comes from the RPG. I can't remember where I saw it, but someone wrote an article or did a video or something. They asked someone at Brotherwise about how they were going to do worldhopping stuff, and the example they gave was how allomantic aluminum could wipe a lashing. That makes a lot of the aluminum twinborns at least B-tier--but only if they're worldhopping. I would put both Firefly and Whirligig in B, assuming they're worldhoppers. The powers don't work together, but they're independently useful for walking into unpredictable situations on unfamiliar planets.

Really liking these videos. It's nice way to delve into the synergies and interactions between all the combinations, even if some of the powers (like F-Nicrosil) are still a bit up in the air with exactly what they do.

A Deadweight would make for a good bounty hunter specializing in the live capture of fugitive allomancers.

A speedbubble could be maintained via an allomantic grenade if the Powernapper in question could acquire one.

I think receptor could be a good two born hunter - imagine tracking down someone using allomancy and then stealing their metal mind only to use it against them.

Prowler would also be good for tracking down because it could supplement your breathing for distance running, oxygen is super important as it turns out 😂😂😂 the aAluminum cancelling out a Lashing is kind of extending the principles that Brandon mentioned in the WOB, not confirmed but I believe it works on the same principle

Bendalloy is good with ANY feruchemical ability that you can store indiscriminate amounts of. You just need enough Bendalloy. xD Also, you might become a Savant with how much you‘d use it.

As I said in the discord, I think we don't have quite enough information to be confident that aluminum Ferrings can use any metalmind.
However, there is a use for aluminum feruchemy that you didn't mention when talking about Receptor, and that is that storing/filling identity changes your susceptibility to emotional allomancy. So the Receptor can fill aluminum in order to be more effected - and in turn more aware of the presence of emotional allomancy. Then they can burn their bronze to hone in on the source. It can also work the other way, letting you track down allomancers while being immune to emotional allomancy, which not even Mistborn can do.

I think Steadfast should be higher up.
One of the main drawbacks of Cadmium is that you stop being part of the time you are currently skipping, requirimg, as you said, a certain type of person to use to its full potential. fElectrum gets rid of this downside.
If you tap Determination, you can confidently use your allomantic abilities, you can be the Pukser you were born to be. Imagine someone who has no second thoughts about using their Cadmium. Imagine the possibilities of what can be done.

Recaller is lowkey really good for stuff thats not fighting.
Reason why, if you had a bookshelf of metalminds with stored memories, you could just yank them off the shelf
If you wanted to know about physics and utilize your powers for construction or anything the like

What would an aluminum savant look like? Loved the video by the way, id say Jolter is a very nice one, one of my favorites. A sudden rush in the heat of a fight that causes an opponent to suddenly use all of their reserves without needing them, leaving them vulnerable to your speed.

Bondseekers could also probably store their connection to be less noticeable while they seek out allomancers. Still I think S tier is a good spot for them.

Storing Identity probably makes You being unrecognizable. If so, it would pair quite nicely with allomantic copper.

I think storing stuff wile in a speed bubble is not a good use for bendalloy. It is noted how expensive bendalloy is

Deadweight should be atleast A tier or busted. A touch is a kill in close combat, touch and burn their reserves and then crush them with 2-3 ton of weight.
Store breath is also a extremally good power for water based combat, think a navy seal type of marine.
Store breath plus coinshot is a navy seal

For powernapper... wouldnt you also age quicker? Cause time for you still moves normal?

    • @ExploringTheCosmere
      @ExploringTheCosmere  Месяц назад

Yes, from my understanding of it, A-Bendalloy users would appear to age faster than the average person and A-Cadmium users would appear to age slower. How dramatic that would be depends on how much time they spend in their time distortion bubbles. I _think_ I read a WoB about it before, but I can't find it now.
