Listened to Focus for years on the radio; often times while driving. Never knew what they looked like until now. Great programming. Programming that keeps it real.
5 Core Needs of every Human Being: 1. Security: who can I trust? 2. Identity: who am I? 3. Belonging: who wants me? 4. Purpose: why am I alive? 5. Competence: what do I do well?
Core needs- Alone time with God. Prayer, meditation. 8 hours of sleep. Bible study. Love. Peace. Good communication with my husband. Daily bonding time with my children. Healthy food. Music. Coffee, tea. Books.
Hey , I love focus on the family , you all help me more than my own church and pastor does. You all help me with REAL issues of my heart . That I have to hid from the saints and my pastor . I question all the time like do God really care and deal with real issues. I at the point right now like why go up for prayer in church when a God is not gonna help me with my real pain and issues on the inside and not be mad at me and beat me down But I’m not gonna say to much I just love your station. Please keep me in prayer
