We have Exchange 2016 CU4 in a DAG environment.After upgrading one of it to CU16 ,it is not replicating DAG and resources use it as IMAP server are not able to communicate with it.Please let me know if both the servers should be of the same build as don't want to mess up the working one.
You should never use Powershell while updating. Run Command Prompt as Administrator otherwise you will certainly face porblems caused by authorization.

At 2:30 you mention another video for DAG servers, what is the name of that video?
Does the same procedure apply for upgrading to CU16?
does the same procedure apply to updating server to CU16?
How would you implement updates for MS exchange server without causing disruption to services?
If you have DAG, the go one by one to avoid disruption.
CU update will cause any issue on running exchnage
It will stop services during the upgrade and will return to normal state
