SolidWorks Line Thickness and Hatch Problems

CAD software always seems to have behaviors that might be operator error or might be glitches in the software. SolidWorks is no exception. Here are two problems -- one operator error, one a glitch -- that have cropped up in my classes from time to time. One involves line weights (thickness) changes that don't display correctly, the other involves changes to hatch patterns that don't take affect. I show the solutions to both in this video using a student submission that should have been correct when plotted.
