And his drawing look like they were painted

Sam knows what’s up!
And his writing looks like a drawing...
Oh, Sam is here too
Don't give up and be patient guys, I stumbled across a sinix‘s video from 9 years ago, and he was a freaking art god already
Easier said than done...
@@Fethennour moping isn't gonna get you there quicker. Keep at it bro
Haha
@@Fethennour I never really trust anything that’s too easy 😅
The last part is cool to know, but was that supposed to be encouraging 💀?
Everytime a new Sinix video is out, he redefines art for me, ,whenever i think i understood a little bit of an especific painting fundamental, he shows me that there is a lot more things to learn. Anyway, thanks for making me a better artist, Sinix.
making us, i would say
Speak up I can't hear you with his d in your mouth xD
now you need the same experience but with grammar.
Unnecessary
The thing that impresses me the most about master artists is their ability to communicate so much visually with very little value or color shift. I always end up doing a lot of contrast though because when I start with little, I feel like my paintings look washed out. I suppose it'll come with practice.
late reply but same. I always change the color way too much and the contrast ends up being too much. I have to remember that small color changes work too :’)
The funny thing about these videos is that at first when I was a beginner, I just took the tips and that's it,
now that I'm decent at painting, I still get some stuff out of the tips, but I can evolve a lot by studying the finished paintings at the end
The structure of these videos is just great
Bruh same here
same! i started watching sinix when i was a sophmore in highschool & now i’m going into my 3rd year of art school and these videos are still incredibly beneficial
Honestly ever since the beginning I always loved to just improve from just staring at someones art and trying to understand lil detail🤣 Even until now. Tho I do like to listen to tutorials and tips on how to draw stuff at times
Okay I know I'm late but no one is talking about how sweet Sinix is by giving attention to darker skin tones. If you looked up "skin painting tutorial" right now you'd get many tutorials for light tones. I love artists that can see beauty in variety. (Especially when they don't make excuses for a lack of variety) Thank you Sinix 💙
Agreed
I understand why though I would like to draw many skintones but If I try and learn all at the same time I wouldn't get anywhere. So for now I focus on the most important which since me and my family and most people I know are white is lightskin. I'm sure most of the other users of English RUclips are the same hence the prevelance of light skin tutorials.
@@raghudurina2354 whats the point of this reply like this person was happy abt the skin diversity why u gotta chime in with a weirdass reply like that
@@raghudurina2354 op is just grateful for the diversity of skin tones in this tutorial video but you had to step in with a absurd comment. saying thet most of the users on english youtube are lightskinned is such a bizarre claim to make
THIS
i am so genuinely grateful that you have differentiated lighter skin tones and darker skin tones EXPLICITLY. so many artists, as you said, just try to use the same method for light for dark, and it just doesn’t turn out well. thanks sinix!
Me: trying to concentrate on what he’s saying

YESS CURRENTLY PAINTING SOMETHING FOR A SCHOOL ART PROJECT AND IM SO GOING TO USE ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THIS! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE HARD WORK YOU PUT INTO THESE VIDEOS, SINIX!
"you need to process the painting as if that were a line on your line drawing"
christ this helped me out so much, I've been confused on how and where to do edges for the longest time. ty sinix!
12:10
It comes full circle!
Sinix 10 Years ago: Drawing like a Painter
Sinix now: Paint (hard edges) like a drawing
jkjk, I think that's a great tip that I'll keep in mind!
Shit son, is he dying? Wrapping things up like that.
I need to cash in my ChromaCoin™ crypto before it’s too late.
Watching Sinix paint is not just gaining knowledge but also free therapy for me. Thank you for existing and teaching.
9:28 - 10:22 my jaw literally dropped
you are such a talented and inspirational teacher, Sinix
one day I'll be able to do stuff like this easily, too
There is nothing else I watch; with my hands on my head as I just sit in complete awe and despair of someone elses skills. Sinix is honestly a master of art.
It’s skill you can learn if you’re willing to put in the work.
The way you pain is just SO SATISFYING, I am in love.
I've learned so much from your anatomy quick tips series, thanks for making these.
My cat watched this video with me and we both learned a lot, thank you for the great video Sinix.
Have I been dealing with eye strain and have I not been able to digitally paint since January? Yes. Am I still going to watch? Also yes.
after literal d a y s of searching how to render skin this is the only video that worked for me. Thank you sinix you truly are art jesus
As a beginner digital artist with a traditional drawing background, this actually helps a lot.
Color theory and skin is much the same in terms of color, and hue, however drawing things digitally (specifically coloring) as well as new methods of rendering and layers have made it a learning process. I’m now really into digital art and think it’s am amazing art medium. This channel has helped me greatly improve my digital art!
absolutely amused that you're able to sketch up a face that good looking in 15 minutes. God dude, you're killing it
I started get bored with art tutorials because most of them said the same thing over and over and i thought i heard it all before. But this video gave me a whole new perspective and made me realize things i never even thought about
For the first time in my whole life i've finally understood the different approaches to painting lighter and darker skin tones. Highly valuable information! Thank you so much!
underrated. I have a medium skin tone and everything makes more sense on why i have trouble with darker tones. I never even though about the reflection thing thank you!
I can’t believe some fellow artist don’t recommend your tips.. your work is the closest thing that I’ve had to a real teacher.. you’re art is amazing and what helped me get better at art.❤
You’re better than any art teacher I’ve ever had, these lessons are all detailed, yet memorable, and they are easy to apply to any art style.
I'm having trouble painting more realistic looking skin, this video is very much needed. Thanks a lot
I love how you started with values & laid down the fundamentals for hues. I often find myself fumbling with skin painting, but it's actually quite interesting to see various types of lighting & shadows based on environments by painting skin. Thanks for this informative video, Sinix!
Kept watching this back to back this really helps alot
I dont know how my life would be without your videos💀💕
this chest hair technique is a game-changer 🙏
THANK YOU I HATE DRAWING SKIN BUT THIS WILL HELP YIPEEE
This probably the best video on skin tones on the internet. 10/10
I just came across this channel and it's the best.
It’s so true how a lot of artists take a one size fits all approach with skin-tone and even hair! I’m so glad this tutorial was made!! I’ve seen a-lot of people inadvertently lighten characters and create characters with dull skin and greyish tones and it’s been miffing because the effort is there but the execution is lacking. No more ashy skin!! Hopefully more people learn! I hope more people can find as much enjoyment as I do coloring/shading/rendering skin.
babe wake up, sinix dropped a new anatomy quick tips video
you don't understand, you're like, a superhero for art LIKE YOURE SO SMART??
the part about going red on darker skin and shadows really helps!!!!!!
I've been an artist for years, and I'm pretty good compared to when I first started. But I've always struggled with colors more specifically skin. I'm partly colorblind so regular reference images never seemed to help, but this video? The other videos for anatomy? It's been a life saver, I come back every month or so just to relearn this advice and my art never hurts from it
Studying your work makes me so happy, thank you Sinix!
Wayyyyy helpful sir. The thing about the lines in sketch being where you place your sharper shadows was all I needed. Thank you!!!!!!
Wow I'm so happy sinix did a video for skin I really needed this
the thing differentiating opacities between skin tones was so cool! Making a character with more translucent/fairy like skin and a character with opaque/reflective skin was something i never thought about when making fantasy characters. It adds a whole new dimension.
Sinix gives a 500k art school education away for free.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’ve been struggling with warm colors for a while now. I love drawing with purples and blues, it usually works for light skin tones but whenever I try something darker it either looks grey or like an avatar character. Meanwhile red tones just look muddy. After watching this video I immediately created a new canvas and started painting darker skin tones on top of a red under paint. It worked so well. I might not hate warm colors as much anymore ❤
It’s like my fifth time revisiting but your skill never fails to amaze me
normally id mute and just sorta guess by watching the examples, but you made the whole scientific part v interesting and im glad i payed attention to it
thank you for like, not going ridiculously deep but still mentioning the important parts and for not talking in slowmotion
So much of this is not only applicable in digital art but also in traditional painting and drawing. I have definitely learned something new and I am excited to implement the techniques and tips in my art! Thank you so much for this!
This video is freaking awesom, i have learned more about colour in this video than in the Spanish academy of arts...
You've got no idea how long I've waited for this
i'm amazed how much information you can pack into a 20 minutes video.
you're the only one that could simply explain those to my monke brain. thanks man!
Your voice is literally so calming to listen to it makes my focus so much on these videos I love it
every time Sinix uploads its like christmas
I LEARNED MORE ABOUT THE LOGISTICS OF MY SKINTONE HERE THEN I EVER HAVE!!! THIS IS AWESOME! thank you sm ❤️
Finding your channel has really helped my art style pop out. I could never find a good reference for what I was going for. Your 'simple' tutorials saved me so much time and made me feel better and more comfortable about my style. Thank you for your hard work and so much info put easily out here for us!! Your channel helped me finally find my preferred style of art. I look forward to actually doing streams soon.
Damn i was shocked throughout the video. Absolutely loved every single tip and watching your videos is hella relaxing
I might have already commented on this video, but I don't care. Every time I watch your videos, no matter how many times I watch them, I learn something new I can apply. Thank you so much for sharing the mastery of your craft!
This is one of my favorites Sinix videos. After watching this multiple times, painting skin is a lot more fun!
I was just rewatching your past Anatomy Quick Tips Videos. Didn't expect you would upload today.
Your painting style is the best. You have inspired me so much.
I swear I can't wait for the triangle video
Super Sinix Triangle-based Rendering Method... definitely waiting for that one!
really happy that you covered darker skin tones too
You are my favorite artist, omg such a beautiful artist 😢❤
Holy cow i have found the single best art advice channel
This is still one of my all-time favorite youtube videos!
Every time I’m in a rut or am struggling with art block, I come back to this video. And I think “Oh THAT is why I love to draw!”
It just hypes me up in such a unique way to see you working so passionately and explaining your process so eloquently, I can’t help but feel the excitement and anticipation of picking up my tablet/pencils/brushes again!
So, as it has happened countless times before, I’m currently stuck in an awful rut regarding my art. As always, I’ve come back to this video. And I’m so happy that I did!
This technique is insane, thank a lot I’m taking my skill to the next level.
Thanks for talking slowly, I'm not fluent in English but I can understand every word you say 🙏🏻🥺
Большое спасибо за информацию, я очень рада что нашла ваш канал, очень многое узнала за это время и поняла почему некоторые вещи так красиво смотрятся в рисунке!!!
Every time I paint a face now I come back to this. Thank you.
NEW TUTORIAL DROP FROM THE KING OF ART RUclips!!!
Amazing video as always! It always blows my mind how little art resources are available that are truly inclusive of darker skin tones. Great to see this absolutely wonderful video that teaches the color theory that goes deeper into the thinking behind how skins of all color work.. and teaches you how to paint light in the process. Can’t thank you enough for it :)
YESSSSS FINALLY SKIN PAINTING TIPS FROM YOU
Tysm, literally all of your videos that I saw were incredibly helpful
Though even just watching you paint skin in other videos has been really helpful already
The amount of information that is possible to get by just watching skilled artist's process is amazing
Really impressive, thanks for sharing.
Damn haven't watched it yet but i know it's gonna be so dang useful
I just started painting and then this video comes up, you are truly a god send.
Thanks
Thank you so much Sinix, its been almost a year since I last drew or painted something because of lack of motivation and things going on in my life. But, my life's getting better and I was thinking to get back into drawing and painting, and this vid helped me so much, Thank you once again!!!
ooh, interesting! can't wait to put them into practice~
I love how diverse your art is
2 years waiting for the video about the ambient oclusion triangles
Incredible, I did not understand a single word that was said
Something I’ve reeeeaally wanted to see for a while and have seen only a few artists actually show on their art but never teach, is how skin MOVES and shifts realistically depending on the pressure. In painting, it might be a bit easier since you can show how it shifts using color alone, but with drawing you have to make all that variation and subtle color and shading changes into a few lines… soooo I’ve definitely been stuck for a while
Oh man. It's like Sinix is psychic. I was literally looking through your channel an hour ago. Looking for videos I haven't watched yet. And it just so happens I've been trying to do better at skin rendering now. This is excellent.
The full body sketch at 9:28 it's a freaking awesome optical illusion!!! You can either see it as if the guy is facing the camera with his right arm flexed, or if he has his back facing the camera with his left arm flexed!
I can’t express how grateful I am for this tutorial… I’ve just made my first digital sketch and it looks as if I’d been doing this for months! Such an improvement ❤ I might start getting more into digital because of how much I’m enjoying it. Thank you so much!
The muscle dude part was pretty amazing. I wanna get this good at painting figures
I keep coming back to this video because I keep learning something new every time 😭
I've been watching your channel for years, and your tutorials are the best for me on RUclips.THX!!!!!!!!!
ik its a slightly older vid but i use these tips for 3d textures and it works like MAGIC thank u so much
I could watch 100h of videos about painting skin by you. I've been drawing for years but I still shy from colours but these videos give me the courage to try to paint
This man is truly a modern day master!
bro i love this guy's handwriting-
Wait. You taught me just what I was wondering... but I was also entertained??? *mind blown*
your style of rim lighting is gorgeous and makes me want to learn exactly how you did this
Would you be able to put together a Quick Tips video on elbows and/or forearms and wrists? Those are areas I still often struggle with and would love to see your take on them.
Thinking about the painting as a drawing with regard to where to place hard edges is a very helpful tip. I can see how much that will inform my technique from now on. Thanks!
this is acc very helpful ngl, not many artists show how to shade with only grey either so, thanks
This guy a legend. Probably a humble GOAT who knows?!!
this is the best art tutorial i have ever seen
I've seen people use the blue red yellow blocks for the face then build off them and was always confused so seeing it here and how its painted really sums it up for me :D
