- A not-so-quick guide for various aspects of drawing the human eye from imagination. This is the most important feature of the face, and if you want to draw appealing character faces, you should spend the bulk of your time on eyes.

Speaking of eye reflectivity: My family has extremely dark brown eyes, and when i was seven(ish) i remember looking at my mom's face and saying "I can see myself in you!". I've never really seen someone paint eye reflections this way before, it's really interesting!
22:50 that kinda reminds me of a woman i met when i was a kid, me and my friends called her "beautiful eyes lady", and her name was "linda" that means beautiful in portuguese. She had the most crazy eyes we had ever seen, it was really clear the green, blue and yellow on it, even more visible than the painting. She said even she didn't know exactly what her eye color was, but we called it "brazilian color", cuz it had all the colors in our flag. Now i kinda want to draw it, if i can remember.

Dude I relate so much. I have such a hard time painting a face when I get to choose which colour to pick next. Sinix is the only tutorial I've found (so far) that gives the exact explanation you need.

I’ve been watching your channel for THREE YEARS . I found it when I started art school and needed help understanding digital art and you NEVER fail to amaze me with your content. I am so grateful for you suggesting how to share and highlight a dark colored iris !!! I always have great difficulty when painting in the colors of dark eyes and always end up with this weird golden brown color . Never stop your channel because you are so appreciated !

Wow! I love this, the reflections on the eye made me smile so much, it's like watching a magician doing a trick in slow motion, but it's just as impressive once you see the method as it is when it appears to be magic.
THANK GOD a tutorial available for people who relies on using absurd lines in drawing humans. KNOWING anatomy is powerful rather than relying to subjective lines

cheese and rice I finally know how to colorize the lines (and draw eyes better of course). for peeps who run into trouble with this, make a new layer on top of your lineart but don't fill in any color yet. Set the layer mode of the new layer to lighten and done! any lineart below the lighten layer takes on the color inside it. thanks sinix new sub btw

You have so much knowledge to share, length is not something I would worry about. In fact, when searching for how to paint eyes, I went for your video because of the thumbnail plus the length.
