You guys are both great. I signed up Udemy courses on art (several fundamentals etc) but there is too much fluff, not enough info I felt like on certain ones. Thanks for all the work you all put into your channels. I consider myself a 'novice' but still am getting my mind blown by you guys.

Speaking of eye reflectivity: My family has extremely dark brown eyes, and when i was seven(ish) i remember looking at my mom's face and saying "I can see myself in you!". I've never really seen someone paint eye reflections this way before, it's really interesting!
22:50 that kinda reminds me of a woman i met when i was a kid, me and my friends called her "beautiful eyes lady", and her name was "linda" that means beautiful in portuguese. She had the most crazy eyes we had ever seen, it was really clear the green, blue and yellow on it, even more visible than the painting. She said even she didn't know exactly what her eye color was, but we called it "brazilian color", cuz it had all the colors in our flag. Now i kinda want to draw it, if i can remember.
as someone who absolutely cannot apply things to my art unless i’m given an explanation to exactly HOW and WHY it is that way, this video was really helpful. never been a fan of tutorials or videos who just give one example and say ‘Okay, this is the right way to do it!’ with no further nuance so loved this vid and all the vids on your channel. been a silent follower for years but since i struggle so greatly with eyes this one in particular saved me lolol
Dude I relate so much. I have such a hard time painting a face when I get to choose which colour to pick next. Sinix is the only tutorial I've found (so far) that gives the exact explanation you need.
Half way through the video I realized how important eye lumps were and it hit me like a truck. Definitely gonna have to rewatch this when it isn't "some god awful midnight hour"

I've been oil painting for over a decade, and your videos are just unbelievable. My mind works like yours, at about 10% your sharpness.. haha.. but I understand what you're doing and it's a tremendous help!!!
Nah cause you're genuinely such an inclusive guy. I'm currently on a binge on your quick draws and I love the inclusive of different eye shapes, colours, different skin types and colours. I really love your choice of wording and way of drawing. As an asian person, I really really thank you!
This series is actually sooo helpful. Just having watched it once, without even trying to practically follow along, I noticed big improvements in my anatomy - can't wait to see the progress some thorough practice combined with your tips will bring me
I’ve been watching your channel for THREE YEARS . I found it when I started art school and needed help understanding digital art and you NEVER fail to amaze me with your content. I am so grateful for you suggesting how to share and highlight a dark colored iris !!! I always have great difficulty when painting in the colors of dark eyes and always end up with this weird golden brown color . Never stop your channel because you are so appreciated ! Xoxoxoxo
Over the years I've swallowed more tutorials and art specific content than I'd like to admit. I'd just like you to know you are a master, not only in technical or skill in art in general but also in producing art friendly videos. I do hope you never get exhausted and finally, get all the major rewards in life you deserve. Impressed, inspired and humble is the least I can say...
I can’t believe you made a whole subway wagon inside an eye on a quick tip video omfg That’s amazing, thank you so much for the series. These are, srsly, soooo so helpful.
This was so helpful, I stopped drawing for a while to get my home life together❤. So im slowly working on getting back to drawing for myself again. This was GREAT on getting me back on track again. So much progress lost for my technique, thank you!
One of the best video about this topic i have ever seen. Never get bored, i can see it again a tons of time, I will always find something to learn. I really thank you for this content!
Hey man. Thanks for the video. I'm having a rough time with my mom's health. This video is the first thing I watched to distract myself the whole week now that I can breathe a little. I was actually happy that it was longer than usual. Thanks again.
Running through these lessons and drawing all of your examples, and you are a wizard with the concise/punchy explanations. Every bit of information seems like it contributes to my understanding of the topic as I work through (even the goofy bits help center the approach). Honestly, painting better than I ever have with your tips and tricks so far. Minds blown! Can't wait to do the rest! Thank you so much for your time and effort on all of your videos.
A tutorial on how you choose skin tone would be awesome! (I love how you explain the choice with each topic but it would be really cool to see how it fits into the overall face structure and potentially body structure too) Love your videos!
All of your tutorial videos are outstanding, but this one just blew my mind. Your knowledge, your grasp of technique, and your ability to communicate it all in a clear but fun and approachable way is just incredible. You have a lot of competition, but this is definitely my favourite art channel. Thank you so much for all of your hard work.
When the highlights go onto the eyes its incredible how much it pops. Really love your style and these quick tips videos, please do keep them coming. Amazing work 🙌
cheese and rice I finally know how to colorize the lines (and draw eyes better of course). for peeps who run into trouble with this, make a new layer on top of your lineart but don't fill in any color yet. Set the layer mode of the new layer to lighten and done! any lineart below the lighten layer takes on the color inside it. thanks sinix new sub btw
I felt you stating how long each eye took you helps relieve this anxiety of feeling like my digital paintings should be super fast. I don't know what to attribute it to. I feel heightened sense of "need for turnaround" which steals the joy of playtime that I allow myself with traditional media. It's nice to have a reminder that even the best take time.
I really love the description you throw there on the last eye that watches a very long video. Got me there. I appreciate your tutorials, pretty amazing.
Eyes are one of my favorites to draw and I find them the easiest yet the hardest to do because sometimes I can make the size not right with the face. Next Necks or ELBOW/Arms or waists please and thank youuuu.
When we search on RUclips for drawing tutorials, most of us are basically forced to do something simmilar as the person shows in the video and then color it like them. This video just does the opposite and it's just awesome!
Sinix boyo! No need to speed things up! I'm sure most of your audience get an art boner by seeing the length of your video. I love your longer form tutorials!
THANK GOD a tutorial available for people who relies on using absurd lines in drawing humans. KNOWING anatomy is powerful rather than relying to subjective lines
You have so much knowledge to share, length is not something I would worry about. In fact, when searching for how to paint eyes, I went for your video because of the thumbnail plus the length. I love in depth tutorials, I don´t want to just copy what you show, I want to understand. Thank you very much for the video!
This guy and marco bucci are my favorite artists to watch right now. So many subtle considerations to use in my painting that they make me realise, i love it.
I never thought i would be so into Anatomy...i m a Zero hobbyist from Myanmar...but this vid made me so inspired to keep on learning! Ur life long experience was also shown through this, Sir.
Wow! I love this, the reflections on the eye made me smile so much, it's like watching a magician doing a trick in slow motion, but it's just as impressive once you see the method as it is when it appears to be magic.
_i saw that double c_ but i really enjoy watching these. it simplifies the things you need to know to really easy to understand tips and your visual representations make it even easier. like i actually know what you're talking about. it's crazy.
Sinix you should totally do an anatomy quick tip on breasts and pectorals. Cos I am trying to improve on the anatomy of both of those things. YOU'RE AWESOME!!!!!
These anatomy videos are literally just amazing cause now I know why and how the face works. This is more helpful than any art class I’ll ever take. Thanks for all the great work!!
I'm struggling with the form of the face, the jaw line and cheeks. You are awesome and i'm learning a bunch thanks to you. This is high quality content and deserves a lot more views and likes!
I used to start my drawing with circles, they were my friend. Untill you beat me with diamond facts and now i changed my method. I've improved a lot Thanks!
