What we know about "The Incident" (unless I'm missing something):
It involved Michael and Grunty Boi.
It was important enough to distract Grunty Boi from asking about Michael's stuff.
Michael and Grunty Boi agreed to never speak of it again.
It resulted in Grunty Boi losing a lot of personal property.
It was caused by Grunty Boi's horrible bird calling.

My guess is that it involved a horrid regional bird call that attracted a group of wild Mandibuzz. They are known to steal stuff.
They were attacked by angry barn owls and Grunty Boi forgot Pokeballs don't work in this universe and only made them angrier which attracted more angry fauna. Which also could not be caught in Pokeballs.
It called over a giant bird that stole all their stuff

In Gen 1, moves with 100% accuracy had a very small chance to miss.
Which meant everything was 50% accurate.

What I think the incident is
They were camping and grungy boi wanted to take a bird pet home and screamed “CACAWWWW” and then little did he know he just told a bunch of birds to poop on them.. but it was to late and then they got bird doodie all over them

I have a theory that team sky’s bird Pokémon attacked them after grunty boi made the caw sound this causing the incident

the reason that psychic was displayed as 99.61% is because in gen 1, there was a glitch where moves would have an extra 1/256 chance to miss, so showdown implemented that into the gen 1 versions of the game

In my case with Volo, it was kind of interesting. Early on I said "yeah, he's the villain." Then I finished the main storyline and thought "huh, OK, guess I was wrong." And then when we got towards the end of the postgame when he was revealed as the villain I felt redemption.

The psychic accuracy is actually pretty interesting! Showdown is capable of simulating every generation of Pokémon, including gen 1. The slight inaccuracy is the 1 in 256 glitch, which because it was present in gen 1 is still present in showdown if you’re playing in a gen 1 format.
I guess it’s first come first serve
It is actually awesome that they included that glitch.

Ugh, I just wasted several minutes of my time calculating all 468 possible Psychic type move accuracies in Gen 8 because the last time I checked out Pokémon Showdown's client was 23 days before they added support for the Gen 1 accuracy glitch.
I put on subtitles and when mikey said ASPITAPAY the subtitles said ASK PEWDIEPIE

Bruh im trying to put together what “the incident” was and im thinking the intire time “yep, mikey stabbed a guy i guess-“ and then the bird call threw me off.
I love how simply adding "the incident" in the video instantly added more comments discussing what it could have been.
My theory about, “The Incident.”:
Mikey and Grunty Boi were on a camping trip, until Grunt Boi started to bird call for fun. A swarm of birds then attacked, and Mikey and Grunty Boi were forced to kill the birds with the kmnives and stuff it in the bag.
The incident probably was GRUNTY boi calling a reshiram

6:10 it's because in gen 1 every move barring Swift (which ignored the accuracy check) had a 1/256 added chance to miss. So every move had accuracy lowered by 1/256.Another fun gen 1 mechanic is that high critical hit ratio moves like Razor Leaf and Slash had a 255/256 chance to crit (essentially it always crit) unless your speed was super low, like Snorlax tier low. This actually made Victreebel a very potent threat along with Gen 1 Wrap in OU and it completely changed the meta, though now it has fallen out of favor.

The minimum base speed you need to always crit in gen 1 with the high critical hit ratio moves (Crabhammer, Karate Chop, Razor Leaf, or Slash) is 64. And that's base speed and not its speed after EVs and IVs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe in gen 1, the coding is that a random number between 0-255 is rolled when using a move, and for an 100% accuracy move, the coding is coded that the move would hit when the number is greater than 0. However, that did not account for 0 itself, since 0 isn't greater than 0, and therefore if it rolled a 0 it would miss
It's less than 255 rather than more than 0.

I’m not entirely sure about what “The Incident” was, but I think to put it simply: Micheal and Grunty Boy were out on a trip in some form of woods. They decided to do a camping trip and figured it would be nice to try and find some birds. While Micheal did use his sponsored materials, Grunty Boy may have attracted some large violent bird or a small flock of violent birds, causing them either to get robbed by the flock or abandon their belongings due to getting attacked.
But that’s just a theory, a MandJTV Theory.
Or the birds are the legendary birds and attacked them because of Grunty Boi.
I learned you could fly backwards a while ago, but did you know you glitch out the double jump with Basculegion?
If you time a double jump while making impact with water, it will mess up the asset and take the purple effect from the double jump and apply it to the normal jump.
If you release B after the jump, Basculegion will also nudge forwards.

"The Incident" is when Grunti Boi does the horrible bird call, calls a bunch of Spearows, the Spearows attack both Mikey and Grunti Boi, and they steal Grunti Boi's stuff so it teaches him a lesson. Grunti Boi must suck at voice acting.
