    Great video! I've been catching them pretty good at Echo Bay lately. The road is a little hairy but otherwise a great spot. Cheers!

      Yes, I do see some people launching small boats and kayaks from Special events beach. There are a few spots. I do see more launching small boats at Hemenway tho. Let me know if you see me out there. Thanks for watching.

    fishing dad you need to just get rid of your bell notification. Your only two feet away. But nice to see you hood them up.

      Yes, I’ve been thinking about not using the bells as well. Maybe I’ll try next time to see if it helps me out. Appreciate your pointer and thanks for watching my videos 🙏.

    Nice video. What's your pack bait recipe? And set up?

    • @Busydad
      @Busydad  Год назад +1

      My carp set up is a Carolina rig with a feeding cage with 2 hooks using T knot. For pack bait, it’s a mixture of cornflakes, panko (breadcrumbs) and corn. I put 3-4 kernels of corn on each hook and it’s been working great. Thanks for watching and I hope this helps.

    Hi Peter!
    Nice video. What time of day did you get there and where did you get those waders? Pete, to get to #5 rest room, just pull up near the fishing platform, make a left and continue to #5? Why did you choose that spot and how far is it after you make that left turn? Went to Amazon, to look at waders, but they have a lot to choose from (confusing). Any advice? Thanks, Peter.
    ps Happy Birthday! Mine is October 14.

      Hi George,
      My BD is also on the 14th! Happy belated BD to you too. Anyway, I got to the spot around 6:30 ish. The waders were from Amazon a few years ago. It was about $40 at the time. (Dark Lightning Fly Fishing Waders for Men and Women with Boots, Mens/Womens High Chest Wader with Boot Hanger) I chose it as the reviews were good. I know I t’s not the best but it works. I also didn’t want to spend too much on it. I’m happy with my purchase tho. I chose that #5 restroom spot as I’ve fished there in the past plus you can drive right up to the water (unlike Boulder Beach). I usually take the Lakeshore Road and follow the Special Events Beach sign. Spots are limited around there due to overgrown vegetation. Hope this helps. Looking forward to seeing you at Lake Mead one day. Take care.

    I use bells and remove them when a fish bites. Not very fond of people who leave them on all the way in. Irritating

      Thank you. I try to take them off when I can but sometimes I just want to land the fish I keep it on. I’ll try my best to take it off in the future. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching my videos. 🙏
