I love your video and the fish you caught were so cool! But question how can you tell the difference between the fish and the name ? Love the music too
Thanks for watching! Well I know what kind of fish it is and how they look like by sight of course. But the fish normally have similar characteristics when they caught. Stripers will pull a certain way and bite certain lures more than others. So I know when I catch a fish on a particular lure, I have a good idea of what it may be, then you add in the way they are pulling. And there ya go!
Hi I like your fishing videos I go to the hemenwey I have a kaya but I can't get anything There are specific places to go or it's just luck you always catch good striped thank you good videos
Hey buddy. I appreciate you watching. Hemenway can be hit or miss. The time of the day and baits make a difference for sure. I focus on ledges and places fish would be like drop offs, or shaded areas when it's hot out. Striper is the easiest fish to catch at lake mead. If you're on a kayak I'd recommend trolling to get on some. Know your lure depths and troll at different depths to find them.
@@angelperera3496 check the videos after this one. I post the lures i use in the description. Right now is shad season. You want to use lures that look like shad this time of the year.
I’m jealous, I have a 5 day trip to Mead coming up next week. Had my boat all ready to go only to find out that they don’t allow 2 stroke on the water there.
Hey buddy. I BELIEVE you can use a 2 Stroke if it is has the proper emissions standards. Anything 2006 and newer should be fine. Anything before 2006 you need a emissions sticker.
I'd be down for it. But I'd be learning myself. I've only ever gone up to echo/Stewart's area once. Looking for crappie. So I honestly don't know the area.

@@camaroboi13 bummer man. Maybe switch to a yak for the trip.
Brens Fishing Life can’t do that, my wife needs hip surgery and can’t really sit on a yak 🤷♂️

@@jesusmalvaez4121 🤙🏼🤙🏼 no problem
It kills me every time you throw them back...Stripers are on of my favorite fish. I swear I could eat them three times a week no problem.
Haha they are very abundant here. But I prefer the bigger ones, 5-10lb range to eat.
