- Went out to Lake Mead and I banked fished the deeper side (left) at Boulder Harbor. I was able to hook up to a couple nice size stripers and a few channel catfish. I also met Fernando who makes his own awesome looking lures. You can get in touch with him through Instagram.

@Busydad Holy crap man! I went down there this last weekend I walked a bit further down it was quite rocky but fun! I caught 3 fishes!!!! Carp, stripper, catfish and holy shit was the carp huge must’ve been 15-20 lbs !!! Will start weighing my catches and making short videos ! Just for fun, I’m heading out there this next Saturday with my dad so I hope we can catch some more!! ✌🏽💯
That’s so awesome! I’m glad to hear the bite is still on. I did see big carps but haven’t caught one there yet. I’d love to get out too but need to help my wife with Thanksgiving this week. Maybe I can sneak out for a few hours 😁. Tight lines!

Thank you 🙏 Yes, I’ve gone mainly to Boulder City Park for trout. Otherwise, I go to Willow Beach for trout. At Sunset, I usually go for catfish and carp and never targeted trout there. Hope this helps.

Yes, it is marked and the gps should you take you there. From the parking it was about a 15 -20 minute walk. Walk out towards the water and turn left at the corner. Some sections are very rocky so be sure to wear good sneakers or hiking shoes.

I made several casts. I had one follow but no hook ups yet. I’ll try next time I go out on my kayak.

Sorry, just getting back. It’s supposed to get cold so I’m thinking of going out there between 6:30 and 7 am but I’m going to Hatchery Saddle Point.
