      @@richardcolligon4277 I have always loved Tiger Barbs, but never had the opportunity to keep them.
      I have them now.
      I just hope that they are nice to the other fishes.
      I have no fish that are slow and have long fins so I'm confident that it will go well.

    I water change Odessa Barb fry spawning tanks daily by putting a marine-tank filter sock over the end of my siphon/vaccuum. Odessa fry are so small you can barely see them, but using a filter sock hasn't impacted the number of fry in my spawns. If they could make it through the sock fabric, I'd never have fry given the amount of water changes I do.

    cool breeding project - makes me wish I had some extra space. I love barbs - I have a 4ft 120 with Rhombo, gold. cherry, five line, melon and snyderi barbs. IF they drop any eggs in my tank the cories and bn plecos would eat them. What I couldn't tell from the video is did he have the air stone on while breeders were in the bucket or while the eggs were waiting to hatch. It seems that they were not on while the fry were free swimming unless they were eating.

    Wow pretty odd To me he does not filter or change the water. I would think it would get pretty gross. Why not throw in a small sponge filter?

    • @PrimeTimeAquatics
      @PrimeTimeAquatics  2 года назад

      There is a sponge filter in each bucket. Ya, I guess it comes down to how much he is feeding relative to the volume of water. Pretty interesting.
