Blues Brothers. one of the best movies ever! a true classic. they definitely don't make them like that anymore.
Love Akroyd and Belushi :)
Thank you Dan for sharing your gift with us and this wonderful movie, among many others. You are an amazing actor and humanitarian!
I was blessed to be a member of the WP Blues Brothers lip sync band back in the early 90's as a dancer known as "The Sleazettes". We had 3 30 min sets and 2 45 min sets. We performed to raise money for different organizations and people in need in our state. It was one of the best times of my life!!! The whole band practiced every Sunday night for 3 hours, to make sure we put on the best show possible, honoring your legacy.
The "girls" gave me a pin that said, "It ain't easy being sleazy"...lol We were performing to raise money for a Mother to help her young son receive a heart transplant. She and I were talking and she said, "I love your pin". I took it off and gave it to her.
Thank you again, Dan!
One of the many Canadian comedy legends. Member of Toronto Second City along with Catherine O’Hara, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Gilda Radner, Dave Thomas, Joe Flaherty, Jayne Eastwood and John Candy.
I think what made Ghostbusters so big was the fact that when you think of it Dan, Bill, Harold and Ernie really aren’t doing much acting needed for the rolls because that’s how they are off camera too. Minus the Proton packs and the gear. Fun classic comedy at it’s best.
Oh that's cute. He's outside. More people should do that. John Belushi's performance of Joe Coker is my favorite vintage SNL clip.
I loved Samurai Deli - he takes his job seriously
That is a classic!!!!!😁
Also the killer bees
" we dont need no stinking badges!"

Hahaha Yeah!
John Belushi could get those antenna swinging in both directions at the same time.
He was a real killer bee.
Dan introduced many to the Downchild Blues Band. 👏👏👏 A great Canadian blues band.
Dan Akroyd : comedy icon 👍
Aww I love Dan Aykroyd so much. He's such a freaking sweetheart. He's my favorite og SNL cast member and my favorite ghostbuster. It's so entertaining seeing him get all excited about his FBI car and everything. And he's so nice how it's his own interview, and he still chooses to ask Seth about his time on Weekend Update with Amy Poehler, and talks about how well Colin and Che are doing. So much kinder than ole Chevy Chase.
SO good to see Dan doing well
Fantastic Bellushi Story!
2 Generations of comedic genius having a drink together...
Dan Aykroyd looks fabulous! He's such an interesting and funny man. Great interview with Seth.
Makes me sad thinking that JB should still be with us.
JB was a comet comic who flashed across the screen ever so brilliantly and briefly. Appreciate the hours he was on the planet and stage.
He was supposed to outlive them all, because he was the "dancer"!
Canada has given the world soooo many greats. Love ya Danny xox
Nice car, Dan... My first car as a teenager was a black Mercury Grand Marquis with burgundy interior. Never knew it had been the FBI's car of choice - mine didn't come equipped with gun safes and such!
I like that Dan has taken on roles that are not pure comedy. A great talent. I’d like to see more of anything.
Plus, the guy’s a real talker isn’t he?
They'll never be comedians like Aykroyd and the greats from his generation ever again. Man is a class act. Cheers to him and the many talents of his time. Salute!
And a fabulous writer too!!
THE VOICE. The memories! All the best sketches, all the way back: his Nixon, Bass-O-Matic, Fred Garvin, Male Prostitute! Oh, Danny, you're not a survivor, you're a THRIVER! You deserve all the happiness you've created for yourself! ❤️ (I know he doesn't read these, I'm old, not an idiot!)
The Ford version of a car is called a crown Victoria the Grand Marquis is under the luxury name Mercury
Yup 🤣
All panther builds. Chill out. It's ford everywhere except for the emblem
it's the same car... now is not the time to split hairs.
I like both.
Yep, town car is the same. He was standing in front of a Mercury.
Dan is obviously taking good care of himself. He looks great!
Such high praise from Dan to Seth (and well-deserved, too). Love it!
Talented man. Just watched the blues brothers on another video here. The Blues Brothers are a 1 of a kind. 40 years doesnt seem possible.lolol
Love you Dan!!!!!
But does it have SCMODS?
SCMODS?
State County Municipal Offender Data System.
Lol
A rare and underappreciated talent. Not just a comic actor - talented musician, apt dancer, capable vocalist, exceptional writer. Love Dan, always have. When's that Dr Detroit sequel coming out? Still waiting....
Needing a Spinal Manipulation are we?
Hey! Thats here in Kingston, Ontario his home town! We're famous hahaha
Damn! I just had an epiphany! I hadn't realised just how much I love Dan Ackroyd.
Legend!
Damn, so many great comedians and actors come from little o'Canada.
Thank you for bringing that wonderful God of comedy to us! WE need more like him.
