@@SpacialKatana original at its best :) i saw the trailer from the new "the road home" B5 addition and was truly surprised. As an anime series, it seems to be covering many CGI-aspects from the old series and i really look forward to it. What do you think about the upcoming B5 movie?

Watch any ST 'fan' film, and yeah their FX are most;y quite good until something happens, and CUT just at the point of explosion...
At least the Narn heavy cruiser helped to take out a couple of shadow ships.

They don't need to remake the series. Just use the original live action and upscale the CGI to modern resolution standards. This is beautiful.

What are your render times like on these? Are you rendering it all on one PC?
Pc specs in channel about tab. Render times range from a few seconds to about a minute and a half per frame for this one

When a shadow cruiser is hit by an energy beam from another enemy ship (like a cruiser), it remains motionless and falls into an inactive state.
