    Inhale with RIGHT nostril to the count of 4
    Hold breath for 8
    Exhale with LEFT nostril for 8

      In India Yogas and meditation are done in abundance.
      If you will watch yogic videos of Baba Ramdev the founder of Patanjali.
      This monk teaches breathing techniques to control and even cure serious diseases like diabetes, cholesterol, insomnia, high and low blood pressure, etc.
      Even Sudarshan Kriya breathing exercise is very much good for overall fitness and internal healing.

    why does this work? what's the science behind it

      slow and controlled breathing brings you in the parasympathetic nervous system. now, why this particular technique results in more focus is less clear. it is said to balance out the left and right brain, which would result in focus. I guess you'll have to google to go deeper into that one.

      If it doesn't work try other exercises on this channel. There is no 1 solution for all

      Ah I was looking for this comment because from what I know breath work exercises go in one or the other direction and was surprised he didn’t mention/clarify or give any warning. Good thing I checked the comments before doing it cause I’m on stimulant medication
