You chose such lovely fabrics. I can’t wait to see the finish garments. I have a lot of vintage patterns and have not made any of them. I don’t know what I’m waiting for. You look so lovely in everything that you make. I’m going to pick one of my vintage patterns to sew and let you know how I make out. Always enjoy your videos!👗🧵🪡🥰
Thank you so much! 🥰 I’m going to sew as much as I can with them this autumn. Yeah, vintage patterns are sometimes intimidating or feel like too much work because of the tracing. But I think it’s actually well worth the effort and satisfying in the end 🌸 I’d love to see know they turn out, good luck ✨
I just used one of the merchant & mills linens and even though it’s a little thicker than the mid weight linens I’m used to, it actually turned out amazing as a shirt! 🥰 I’m not sure what you meant by handkerchief weight but maybe the ones from the fabric store are a little bit lighter mid-weights. Otherwise I’ve seen really thin semi transparent ones in the summer 😊
@@irene.marceline ohh I’ll have to look! Handkerchief linen is really thin and lightweight I think. Like cotton lawn fabric. Its really great for summer (or maybe regency dresses too). The fabrics you got look really beautiful so id love to look too

Very nice fabrics! I love sewing for fall 🤗
Thank you 🥰 Fall fashion is truly one of the most fun 🍂
Such lovely fabrics! And I love the top you are wearing in the video. Did you sew it as well?
Thank you! 🥰 Yes, it’s a vintage pattern and I used a liberty tana lawn to sew it. There is another video where I talk about it in detail ✨
These are excellent fabrics! I wonder if they have handkerchief linen on those sites? Heavyweight linen is a bit too stiff for me sadly
