Nice reaction. People can be such dicks. Like you said "drumming is not an Olympic sport". El is just working his ass off. Making videos millions of drummers and non-drummers alike are digging. And he's got so much personality and is addictive to watch. As El himself said in one of his videos. "If people would just spend half as much time practicing as they do hating the world would be a better place." I may have had to paraphrase a little there but that was his message...so true.
I actually edited out the part where he says this (it's at the end of the Dragonforce short) and i just yelled "PREACH" a bit too loud, lol. I agree with the message 100%. El is the man!

Or he's just concentrating. I've noticed over the years that when he's challenging himself, he gets a dead man's stare.
In fact, he himself has said that he does not know how to read sheet music. He has his own way of writing songs.
I used to be a fan, but after watching this video I'm a whole air conditioner!

He was probably using the 2 mics because he added the congas to the set. He uusually records with the mic box that mounts on top of the bass drum. Forget the name.

Those pickups are studio mics, he has come a LONG way in terms of equipment as well as skill. Sponsorships help too.
He told in an interview that he's currently living in a house with 2 friends. And one of them has the best drums studio in Spain (NovoStudio, the logo that appears after each play) and the other of couse has a custom bikes workshop in the garage.
Anyone notice how he switches his right had stick grip so the stick is between 2nd and 3rd finger. Never seen that.

I thought your comments were fine, but the way you jumped around on the video and edited half of it out wasn't. I didn't feel like I got to hear the song, just snippets. Why not play the video through and stop it if you want to comment?
I am not here to replay the whole video, i just include the parts where i feel like saying something. I am not risking playing whole songs anymore on YT, that is just an open invitation to get blocked. 66Samus' (another great YT drummer) livestream got blocked because he played...Sleep Token, i think. I always say that if this annoys anyone, watch the original first and then come back. Reaction videos can't and don't want to be substitutes to the original videos.
