The amazing thing is that not only is it normally played by two drummers but there are sections where he has to play everything double time to keep up.
Man, I'm so glad I'm not a percussionist. Many don't like the word "GENIUS", well I'm sorry for many, but this guy is a "GENIUS". I have been studying music since I was 7 years old, and never in my student or work life have I seen anyone play like that, I have seen exceptional percussionists, I have seen incredible ones but this man is a "DEMON" playing the drums, literally. The great violinist Nathan Milstein once said, "Either you can play it, or you can't play it," as simple as that. El Estepario is an ABSOLUTE GENIUS, and in his immense modesty he encourages us that it is possible, but it is a lie. Understand that for that genius it is normal, and what we see seems impossible to us, for him it is normal. We are facing a phenomenon of nature, a Failure in the Matrix. For me it is the best in the world. But that is my modest opinion.
That is what comes out if someone is working on his skills 8 hours a day over years and years. He himself mentionied it in an interview, that it has nothing to do with talent. It is passion and a hughe amount of hard work. That is what it takes to be one of the best drummers in the world.
first thing i ever noticed about him. im not a drummer .but i was a golf instructor and personal trainer. while i never finished college i was a biology major with a huge interest in biomechanics/kinesiology/sports med. hes got what is considered an athletic posture...which is really our default position in a natural world..how our body is positioned in movement is how we were designed.i f you watch a toddler move you can see both the weak and strong movements as he develops in his frame...years ago i remember looking at my 7yr old and being envious of his posture. but saying thats the natural position...he is certainly not thinking about posture
It has 2 completely unique songs with EES covers, Bring to me Life, Psicossocial. I would like you to react and bring a little of your analysis about these 2 versions
This guy really is the epitome of what a prefect drummer can be, I’ve seen many drummers in my time but this guy I would genuinely argue is the best drummer alive, if not the best drummer ever, I’ve never seen another drummer do some of the things he does

Want to know the most mind blowing part?
He can't read music. . .
He breaks the music into individual parts so he can understand them.
The drumming is obviously extraordinary but I really enjoy watching a human just floating in the zone with full situational awareness, calm, and Zen.

Muito boa reação, homem! Congrats!
The best at something always has haters, He's the best I've ever seen.
I see comments here and there saying he’s not a good drummer 😂. Mind bending how people even embarrass themselves saying things like that.
He's just on another level
A God sitting in a paradise of drums 🥇
His first cover of bongo song was more faster, but this is incredible too
This man is what happens when one has no (effin') limits !! It is literally dificult to even try to understand this man's ability ..
EES is a beast!
It's the Siberian tiger.
🥁🥁🥁I'd love to hear his renditions of the Late Gary Moore's Over the Hills and Far Away🥁🎸🥁🎸🥁
Yo can drop a secondary channel just for EES reactions! A nice video, as you always do. Peace.
Safri Duo song.....
