Jess- you’re the best teacher! I’ve been watching, doing some work. Watching myself in the bathroom mirror over the winter. The first two rounds this Spring I had never played better, had consistent contact with the ball and gained distance…even my competitors were amazed…and it was effortless. Then, during the next two rounds I lost it and could barely make good consistent contact…felt miserable. After 2 visits to the range I think I realized what had happened…my old habit of using the muscles in my arms to hit at the ball.. instead of calmly keeping the left arm straight/staying centered/keeping weight forward/ tilting and turning. I wonder if you could talk about the power created by just turning the trunk around a stacked/centered center…is it like your throwing your arms by that turn…instead of contracting all those arm muscles to hit at the ball…I think so…and when I believe and am relaxed it really seems effortless! Thank you for all you do👍

Hey Jess, where do your eyes focus during your back swing? Is it the back of the ball, couple inches in front, ?

Jess, I do S&T swing. I went to Golftec this winter and it was determined I was moving my shoulders towards the target in the backswing, and then away from the target in the downswing. Any thoughts? Of course my instructor told me to not keep my weight on my front foot.
