Part 2, Ice Dye Rope Bowl

This is part 2 of the 2 video rope bowl series.
Materials Needed:
100' of 1/4" cotton cord, - it's OK if it has a polyester core.
Soda Ash
Fiber Reactive Dye - made for Tie-Dye
and Ice... (Duh) LOL

Steps:
1. Wash cord
2. Soak in soda ash
3. Spin in washer
4. Make a cardboard dam and lay out cord on drain rack
5. Cover with ice
6. Cover ice with dye
7. Leave on rack for 24 hr.
8. Rinse off excess dye
9. Wash and dry cord
10. Stich into bowl

Good luck with your project. I just use cotton cloth line cord and get it from the hardware store, if you have one nearby.
