ice dyeing macrame cord-its a long one folks

in this video i show how i take a cone or ball of fiber and wind it into a skein without an umbrellaswift or automatic skein winder, spoiler: i do it on the back of two chairs.this video is for amanda, who asked me to show how i do this and how to tie if off so that you dont tangle it up, i then proceed to tangle it up anyways. however, the main course of this video is ice dyeing the cord and rinsing it out.

A lot of the yarn I buy comes pre-skeined, and some of it I even leave that way if I think the color balance looks right, but if I buy a cone or a ball that is the process it goes through 🥰 glad you enjoyed sis!

I did a 4mm one a while back before I started doing videos, it was huge 😅 that's actually what I thought I bought for this one, but sometimes I don't read packaging well enough, same company, but different size 😅. I wish you luck! You can do it!
