    So unique and just beautiful. The people able to purchase one of these Kodo Constant Force Tourbillon's are very fortunate.

    the interviewer did a great job. he helped explain what "high" complication is when the seiko boss was saying " this is the first grand seiko complication" while they already have complications like chronograph and gmt.

      Appreciate that - Mr Naito does not consider them comps which is pretty interesting - thanks for watching, A

    thank you for making this video, loved every minute of it, except when you and Mr Naito kept on saying Takuya instead of Takuma :)

    Mr. Naito's English is exceptional, very natural, unlike most of Seiko's Japan representatives. He definitely lived abroad when younger.

    Absolute pure class 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 and the most beautiful watch I’ve ever seen.
    Now you had the chance to speak with the president of Seiko….why not ask about all the QC and non regulated movement concerns that many fans of the brand have??? I would love to hear their explanation.

      Not afraid to go there, this just wasn’t the time. Limited time for interview and first meeting - we’ll get there.

    It’s & moser were the start of the show. This is the first grand seiko I ever wanted & the one I definitely can’t afford 🤣🔥

    • @Timeandtidewatches
      @Timeandtidewatches  2 года назад +1

      The moser is closer to affordability for this style, but it ain’t a CF single axis Tourbillon

    Please gents hope you can assist. My dad just messaged me and asked. " Is Grand Seiko a good watch?" To me the question is really. Is a GS quartz better than a GS spring drive? Thoughts?

    You asked him about price and availability and then changed the topic before he could answer.. So do we have any news on that?

    This is the star of the show and a true dream watch. I wish it were attainable for sub 100k....::sigh::

      Consider the Moser cylindrical tourbillon, but it ain’t a CF like this!

    Never talk to president or CEO when you want to know the details or stories, because just like any other president or CEO their focus is shareholder or business and less about the watch. This president has been fed information from the real source or engineer who really knows about the watch before this interview and this explains he doesn't even know what complications even mean. Talk to head of product or any department close to the watch design to have more valuable video content .

    • @Timeandtidewatches
      @Timeandtidewatches  2 года назад +2

      Strongly disagree - while you’re right that they aren’t across all details, often the culture of a business and its direction trickles down from the top. Seiko / GS have rarely in the past done these kinds of interviews with press. Mr Naito is an open and warm and collaborative person which explains both brands recent success. A new era for two great brands with a very impressive leader in my opinion. Thanks for watching - Andrew
