leaving it as second degree gives us a MUCH better chance of actually convicting him. It was most likely first degree, but it’s also way harder to convict someone on that charge.

Second-degree murder means that the murder was committed in the "heat of the moment" without prior planning or intent. First-degree murder means that it was planned in advance and carefully executed. For this officer to be lawfully charged with 1st-degree murder, an unbiased and multiracial jury must vote without a shadow of a doubt that the murder was forethought, premeditated, and carried out.

As a small example
I grew up poor with no father and when people talk about that impacting blacks more so. That's a class war!
When I talk about certain rights, I'm talking about, that for me being white and poor I never got looked at because my color and my status. I got judged based on status but never got judged on status and the stereotypes it follows for being black and poor.
Many privileges come from different sexes and colors. However as a black man, you have a mark that your a threat to the system and need to be watched more so then whites.

Definitely more than willing to help and been out there for those people but to demand white people to give money no questions asked without there being money to go around right now is hard for me to understand.
