I love the aesthetic of these traitor guard. A versus mode would be fun where the chaos side can choose between specialist, elites, and gunners
Considering Vermintide 2 will get the Versus mode, of it goes well we may also get one for Darktide
Honestly a completely missed opportunity if you ask me, wouldn’t need much in the way of extra scripting, just some new maps maybe and some weapon customisation would be cool to add some variety to players load outs, would be amazing to have 40K call of duty tho hahaha 😊
@@PROJECTAUTOGUN the game isn't balanced for pvp, you'd need quite a lot of tinkering for it to work
Honestly the base game classes work fine.
Veteran = Infantry
Zealot = Melee
Ogryn = Ogryn
Psyker = Traitor Psyker or nerfed Daemon Host.
The only issue is that the game is very much PvE, not PvP so balancing or weapons made for PvP will be needed.
I've noticed that loyalist's lasgun rays look different from traitors' one
I assume they’ve probably modified their lasguns to be more powerful

Reminder, Lasguns are extremely customizable and that includes the power of their shots. The power packs can be reconfigured easily to fire more high-powered shots. Basically the Lasgun is the AR15 platform of the Imperium and even the most backwards guardsmen rookie knows how to work their lasgun to their own specification.
As for the Moebian Sixth, considering the crap they fought before their fall from grace to Chaos, its no surprise their lasguns are tuned to pack more of a punch than your standard issue militarum lasgun. Seeing how they pack more of a punch and still have enough firepower, they likely modified their weapons to not only dish out more power in each shot but also fire more shots as well. Makes sense considering they’re the ones who fought against the DARKTIDE at the fringes of the Moebian Domain. They not only need to stay in the fight longer but kill take down the worst horrors that the harsh galaxy has to throw at them.
