I don't think you understand how big of a favor have just done. Just saw that plugins video and that was already a huge thing, but then i saw this one. Just greatness. Thank you.
I just stumbled upon this channel today and this video is perhaps the highest quality "Best of 2021 Free VST" videos that I have seen and I have seen them all. I have now subscribed - please keep up the great work Audio Tech TV! I have turned on the notification Bell; more free vst plugin videos please - pointers to all sorts of plugins are welcome! Maybe "best Max For Live plugins" would be a cool video?
Thank you so much sir! Totally solid. Appreciate the time you've spent to put all these in one place. I almost own / owned everyone of them and they are all good place to go ( not start, literally go. I mean using them regularly ). However no matter what I've done, I could not like Komplete Start :) That's on me of course.
The Tyrell N6 is literally the only one you need. It sounds amazing, it's extremely versatile and has tons of presets including CS80/Bladerunner sounds. Get that and Vital for wavetables and you're all set.
I came back, just because I spent a lot of time downloading some apps/plug-ins from here, and forgot to give you a thumbs up. TDR,and Spitfire I already had, but some others were great. Thank You.
I agree. You're making ppl aware of these free plugs and for what I can see, the motivation is simply that you're a gear freak who just likes to talk about it, and yr showing the basic features of several dozen synths with their strengths and features. Your taking the time and effort just to do this is really generous and good natured. Then going away from you to these devs, again, their generosity in offering these free wares is behavior which you don't see tons of, and it's nice to see that there's all this altruism going on out there. And many of the free VSTs and efx are right up there with paid costly ones, such as Arturia...who really should update their wince-inducing pricing structures; VSTs which cost 100s make for wistful nostalgia about the 90s, and the early days of VSTs, but it's like going to the Ford dealership, but they only stock Model Ts, these days; it's silly. It's entirely out of date. I have some of their stuff, and being a trash/crud rocker, I've got to have a Vox organ and a Farfisa organ in order to survive, lol. So I'll upchuck the sickly green Prez portraits into their laps, not caring that before I walk out with them, I'll be limping out of there limping, and with Vaseline running down the rear of my legs. But it shouldn't be that way. It isn't 1995 anymore. But one can easily do anything they need done via the myriads of free gear. The incentive for selling your liver to the black market in order to obtain nice gear is an ancient artifact now. Thx for what you do, and thx in general to the devs who give away this stuff, the motivation seemingly being to inspire ppl. It's cray, but it's a noble and very cool kind of cray. I don't take that for granted, from having grown up during the 70s, when even bottom-tier gear items were gaspingly, frighteningly, and suicide-inducingly expensive. The major sea change re that situation we're seeing now is something that no one could have hoped to expect at all. My gratitude is all up there. This is the best era for music gear there has ever been.
Yay! My all-time favourite album makes an appearance on the wall! And yippee, more freebie VSTs. At some point I am going to have to sort out my filing system for VSTs...mine's an unqualified mess. Any tips?
Blondie album? For your VSTs, you can make folders within your VST plugin folder. So you can have a folder called effects and another one called instruments. You can move your plugins into those folders without needing to be re-installed. If you want you can go even further and have folders within those folders. Like in your effects folder you could have EQ, Compressors, Amp Sims, and things like that.
@@AudioTechTV Yep, 'Eat To The Beat'. Their best in my (never) humble opinion. :-) Thanks for the tips re folders. I have semi-started doing that with recent downloads, but at some point I'm going to have to go through everything, try and remember what it does, and get rid of any plugins that are possibly 32-bit and don't work. Oh, the FUN! ;-)
Just wanted to point out how much I appreciate your work and effort in making all videos. Great recommendations, I've downloaded several VSTs and DAWs to test. Huge thanks from a brazilian fan
Thank you for the video I see you use Waveform, does it work well for you? Because I've just installed it and found that it's weak in mixing, what do you think about it?
What do you find weak about the mixing in Waveform. I think that’s really where it excels as it’s completely modular and allows me to route things any way I want. The workflow and ease of use allows me to record and mix songs quickly. I’ve been using Waveform as my main DAW for about 2 years now and I’m really enjoying it.
@@AudioTechTV I switched from cakewalk to waveform, because I found that waveform has a good interface, but I had doubt about the mixing process, but you helped me on this, now I should try it before judging.Thank you
@@yassin5989 it can seem a little weird at first because it is modular but once you get used to it, you’ll realize that it’s pretty powerful. There is a mixer view in waveform but because of the main layout I never need to use that. What I love about waveform is that it just lets me focus on music and the interface doesn’t get in my way. Hopefully you enjoy it once you get used to it. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
Thx for this video. The Mono/Fury by Full Bucket Music is an emulation of the Korg legend Mono/Poly I like very much. There are more very interesting instruments from this developper worth to check them out.
I have Vital and a few other synths and I wonder why there are so many synths out there. And all the tutorials are on Serum. Can I achieve the same thing with Vital? They are the same type of synth right?
It's Waverazor LE that is free. Biotek is a very cool synth. It takes organic sounds and makes them musical. I have thought about making a video about it. Maybe I will soon. Thank you for continuing to watch. Keep creating! 👊👍
Hi sir....can u suggest me an human harmony vst that has capablities of word pronounciation....which is formly used in movie....like an orchestra...harmonise human chorus.......thank you
surge has an astonishing amount of very well thought out patches as stock. but it has a number of glitches (on windows) and theres no deve support. shame, it would have been brilliant.
im having trouble downloading ample bass p lite, when i go through the setup process it always says A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable has been detected on the machine. do you know what to do for when this happens. This bass looks sick and I really want to check it out
These videos are such helpful for me and I really appreciate the work you have done in this video but using the same midi for demonstrate the instruments cannot show the instruments' real strengths
I don't really care for synths, or synthetic "drum machine" drums. I'm more of a rock person so while there is some good stuff here, most of these don't appeal to me as most of them are synths.
Same. The Spitfire BBC Strings are the most useful to me, and the most instrument like. For hi-gain guitar plugins check out LePou guitar amps sims. You'll need IR/Speaker Sim plugin after, but they sound great!
