They were for a 2007 Silverado that we bought off of eBay. I don't think it's gonna matter what model because I built all the brackets to mount the powered running boards. Motor does come very close to the floor board and I spent a lot of time fitting them and fabricating brackets. I will say this is a difficult job
Running boards came with its own wiring harness and the stock door switch wires went to the appropriate spot of AMP wiring. We did a second video that might mention that. I know we tried to be more informative. Thank you watching
Bought it off ebay was used but never installed was for a 07 chevy. The steps, hinges and motor is the only parts used brackets were made to the truck. I made another video that sjpws more . Thank tou for watching
Please upload a how to video.. this will greatly help with ideas to do our custom work, i own a 85 c30 single cab and would love something like this! Great job, very inpressive
Hey Bud!! Looking to do this on my 79 Bronco....is the electrical set up difficult on this or is it plug and play? also what part number is the running board you set up? THANK YOU AND AWESOME TRUCK
The wiring is pretty simple as far as part # that I can't remember but my brother said they were mode for newer chevy extra cab. But honestly after the running boards were cut to fit it seems like you could fit them on anything (just about). The brackets can be moved to any location on the running board to accommodate the vehicle. Most difficult part is mounting brackets on vehicle so that they both mirror the same up and down movement. That part can be difficult fabricating but definitely doable. Goodluck 😁
We bought used ones, we'll they were new but never mounted. I've never looked into buy them new. But if you do want to buy a pair like we did remember we cut the running boards to fit cause the were for a club cab or king. Good luck and let me know how it works 😁
Did you watch the follow-up video? The running board brackets attach to 1×2 rectangle tubing that is welded to the underside of the cab. I tried to show more of that in 2nd video but let me know if you have questions. Thank you for watching
Nice I been thinking to do the same what modifications you did to make them fit will appreciate if you comment back I have the same problem with the wife !
I'm going to try and do another video tomorrow on the fabrication done to use these running boards. As far as building another fabricated mount I just don't have the time with so many projects.i am willing to help you with this though

Did you trim the length of the boards?
