Hercules is a good looking old boy nice that he's got someone to play with. He' puts her back in line when he has to lol. Are Rott lived to be just over 13 years he was a part of the family Miss that old boy. Stay warm👍🏻
@IronheadGarage thanks Chris. New dog is an exact duplicate in almost every way of are dog that passed almost 2yrs ago. So I was excited for Hercules and hopeful. Thanks for watching have a awesome week 😁
Awesome job Eddie
That's a Big project. Nice work!👍🏻
Looks good 😊
Thanks for sharing 🍺🍺
Good job on the racing video, I really enjoyed it.
Fun times at the track. The luv was running pretty good she's a fast little truck. Thanks for sharing Eddie enjoyed watching. Take it easy 👍🏻
That little s10 blazer has an old garbage motor. It ran better than we expected and still has alot more in it.
I thought i had video of her making a pass and the way she said " i hope this old motor makes it anywhere in the 7s" was funny. wow what a launch we loved it
@fasteddie4294 Saturdays first pass it pulled both front wheels about 3 foot in the air. The front suspension got tied down after that lol.
So much fun 😊 let's do this again.
That's cool your going to get that old post lift working again. Right on! Be safe down in that hole 👍🏻
@IronheadGarage thanks Chris have good one
Man! Looks pretty damn good Eddie nice job! Just think of the money you saved. I'm going to have to try one myself one day. Looking forward to seeing it in the truck. Good luck with the back. Take it easy 👍🏻
@IronheadGarage thanks Chris. Yes upholstery work is expensive. I was quoted 750-800 for a simple reupholster on a bench seat and a good seat cover starts at 300. So when I found a deal on a good upholstery machine I couldn't pass.. I have issues
For the first time doing any kind of sewing your seat turned out awesome. So proud of you, your not afraid to tackle anything ❤
@kathygould-q9l thanks mom
Your so brave tackling an upholstery job.❤
@@kathygould-q9l thanks mom
Didn't want motorized running boards until I watched this video. Very useful and cool. Now I'm going to have to start saving....
Thank you I thought a lot of people would enjoy that it's custom, practical and hidden
Very cool truck. You just don't see them around much anymore. I bet it does move pretty good she is light. Thanks for sharing good luck to your buddy at the track. Take it easy Eddie 👍🏻
Thanks Chris. My friend has a lot cool projects he's done with cars without spending lots of money
The old ramp truck is coming along good. Now that's a old lift don't see them around any more. Sure would be cool to get it working again. Have a good one 👍🏻
😊 looks like things are coming together good luck with your projects
Great to see that badass Hotrod. Maybe build a roll bar one day for it probably would make you feel safer. Have a great Sunday Eddie👍🏻
@@IronheadGarage agreed
I like the style and the design of that whale tail.
@MLFranklin thank you for watching, the wing was built to hold and cover the fuel cell
Have you thought about building a top ?
@curtisdanielsforservice4131 I have and then I thought about all the other projects 🤣
Looks good Eddie
How far out from the body was your 1x2 tubing placed. How far up from the lip of the body was your tube placed? This looks awsome. I am in the process of stripping down a 69 K10. Have the running boards already. Going to plagerize your fantastic idea.
Thats great news thats why we did the video. as far as the placement of the tubing from the cab im not remembering but it is very close to the frame maybe an inch. what you need to do is mount the running boards to the 1x2 tubing and tack weld and test fit it. our goal was that the running boards disappeared when retracted and that was most challenging part of the build. Its important for the running boards to stay straight with the cab when they are open or closed. good luck thank you for watching
Very beautiful truck and motor. I love them old chevy truck
😊sounds good fun build. Cool truck
@curtisdanielsforservice4131 thanks curtis
Right on Eddie! Im stoked for you that's cool you got the truck home and got to drive it. Sounds good and the engine looks good in it nice job. Now time to work the bugs out of it with some highway driving. Killer project your building looking forward to seeing the ramp come together to. Stay cool brother to darn hot this way lol. Take it easy 👍🏻
@IronheadGarage thanks so much Chris look forward to seeing more on your model project. Have a good weekend
Man some how i missed this video. You guys got a lot of work done super close to running now Right on! I like where you put the tach looks good and Damn! that is one big muffler lol should be pretty quiet going down the road that will be nice. Been hotter than hell over this way too but better than being frozen lol. Stay cool and take it easy Eddie 👍🏻
@@IronheadGarage hey thanks Chris. Have a great weekend
If you ever decide to part with that please LMK. My dad gave me a Sheridan Blue Streak in the 70's and I love a Sheridan pistol to go with it. Great memories.
@@Paul-ke5lu I will keep you in mind. Thanks for watching
@@Paul-ke5lu I need an address to send you something I think you would like
That sounds good. Can you post your email address and I'll get right back to you.
@@fasteddie4294 Would you mind posting your email address and I'll get right back to you? Thanks a bunch!
Nice to see I’m going to be putting One in my 1966 C 20 stepside… should be the same kind of deal…. i’ve got 3- 12 valves I should be able to make one good one….lol
I'm really not much of a diesel fan (yet) but the cummins 12v is probably one of the best engines built because of its durability and power needed for trucks. Thanks for watching
Great update. Man she's coming along nicely. Engine looks like it fits just right in it. To cool! Keep up the great work take care Eddie 👍🏻
Have a great weekend Chris
Ramp truck is coming along nicely. Great idea using that shifter handle going to be cool to have the engine brake on that switch. Those damn guys at the paint shop not very cool of them guess it was to much work to match the color lol. Spay can color seems to match very well lot cheaper to. Looking forward to seeing more have a great rest of the weekend 👍🏻
Nice work man just subbed.. highly functional with a touch of flare... 👍
Nice work on that transmission tunnel looks great. Have a great weekend Eddie 👍🏻
Iooking good 😊
Great to see some progress on the old Chevy ramp truck. Man! must of used a shoes horn To get that engine in there lol Im diggin it she is going to go like hell down the highway😁 Keep the progress going take it easy 👍🏻
Thanks Chris I'm happy to making some progress
Hey Bud!! Looking to do this on my 79 Bronco....is the electrical set up difficult on this or is it plug and play? also what part number is the running board you set up? THANK YOU AND AWESOME TRUCK
The wiring is pretty simple as far as part # that I can't remember but my brother said they were mode for newer chevy extra cab. But honestly after the running boards were cut to fit it seems like you could fit them on anything (just about). The brackets can be moved to any location on the running board to accommodate the vehicle. Most difficult part is mounting brackets on vehicle so that they both mirror the same up and down movement. That part can be difficult fabricating but definitely doable. Goodluck 😁
There is a part 2 to that video that might answer more questions for you
Toms offroad sells the running boards for bronco's you might try and check them out for any information

@@fasteddie4294 Thanks bud!!! just received mine in mail....going to work on this this week!!!
Wow that's going to be awesome!
Will be awesome to bring a race car to the with
NOT a Dodge Cummins it's a Cummins Cummins. Without the Cummins Dodge wouldn't be much. REALLY AIN'T MUCH
Agree 100%
Nice score getting that engine Going to be killer for the old Chevy. Looking forward to seeing the ramp truck come together. Great seeing a video from you Eddie have a good one
Thanks Chris it's been in the making for a longtime, mostly in my head. Have a good Friday with a good weekend 😁
Good luck 😊 can't wait to see the finished product
when you trimmed the board the end caps where able to get back on there pretty snug? also did you have to tap new holes on the boards or anything to be about to mount it on the control arms?
The end pieces just slipped on to newly cut running boards and I remember that you could cut them to whatever length worked for the application. The brackets would slide to .any location needed. The bracket had a piece that fit into underside of running boards that allowed the 2nd piece of the bracket to be bolted to the 1st piece of bracket. Made it universal in my opinion. Thanks for watching 😁
Good job! Ive got a 70 K10 that I am going to do the same thing, Thanks for posting this.
thats awesome and my brother-n-law says that its his favorite mod to the truck. also makes your truck more user friendly. thanks for watching
What a difference from that first piece of shit so much better quality. That's messed up no reply from the guy or nothing he probably shouldn't be selling anything. Good luck with your project 👍🏻
The new adapter looks really good I think you'll be happy with that😊
dded AMP power steps to the 1985 blazer. I have the wiring all completed on the passenger side via the door courtesy light switch. When i pulled the door switch (unscrewed) from the door frame, i only saw a single white wire, which i pulled off the switch and added the purple trigger wire from the amp power step harness with a new connector. Installed switch back to the door frame, and connected the positive and negative from the harness to the battery. open door, step goes down. close door, (courtesy light goes back off) and step retracts in. Working GREAT! Now for the driver side. Pulled the courtesy light switch and there is a tan and a white wire, and no matter what wire i connect the other purple trigger wire for the driver side to, the passenger side will trigger and go up and down as well as the driver side. Any suggestions?
Oh man I fail at wiring. But it could be that someone has messed with that wiring before you cause I think the wire color isn't correct on passenger side. If drivers side works correctly then try to duplicate the wiring on passenger side
Where did you get the wheels on the 72 pu?
That's my brother n laws truck and he's had those wheels for at least 40 yrs but probably longer. I can ask but I'm not sure he remembers
@@fasteddie4294 Thank you! I would like to know.
He said he bought the wheels new from a wheel and tire warehouse. Ansen wheels 15x10 wide which he probably bought in the 70s
Great video I have exactly the same pistol in the box only thing I lost is the manual but could download one from the internet . Did buy it in Belgium in a shop don't know the price i did pay , at that time belgium did have his own currency no euros lol Must been around 1980 i had a railway tour card for 10 days travelling inside the benulux . Im from the Netherlands still love's this gun
Great story 😁 thanks for watching

The ones on the right look like Hooker fenderwells. Had a set of those in my '65 Nova wagon connected to Corvair turbo mufflers. I got them from Jesse Ballew Speed and Machine in southern Indiana (Louisville area) back in '75 (as a senior in high school). The ones I had were old stock and did not yet have the curved collector but I got a deal on them, so... As I remember, they were about $100 back then, which was around the price of a new set of standard Hookers, and around twice as much as a set of standard Hedmanns. Wish I had just spent the extra money as at that time, as getting that big inlet muffler connected to the collector was a real let down as it required a cone connected to a smaller diameter curved pipe. I knew of no one yet making large diameter pipe then. They really do set the engine off though. Those up swooping pipes are perfect. Wish I had pictures... Mine were just painted white back then. Today, they would look great with a silver Jet Hot finish.
Love the old memories
Good looking fence! The old one lasted 30 years that's pretty good. Hopefully the new one will last just as long. Happy late Thanksgiving to you hope you didn't eat to much like me lol. Take it easy brother 👍🏻
Thanks Chris looking forward to getting back to working on the shop. Enjoy the cold weather hopefully it doesn't last.
Nice score! Lot more heavy duty for sure. Take it easy Eddie 👍🏻
