I find most of vtuber culture (especially this aspect) extremely weird. It was weird as hell in Japanese idol culture, and it’s still weird now. Don’t get me wrong, I indulge a fair bit in NSFW content and support sex workers and certain vtubers. But when most vtubers do it, it just feels very forced and noticeably awkward, like how it is in idol culture. Also the fans, the fans are the worst part. It’s like being in a room chalk full of guys having locker room talk while I’m just there with the Mike Wazowski face thinking “How y’all guys this down bad?”
Honestly being someone studying graphic design and marketing in college has made me understand just how much things are done to get traction and the fact people will take marketing materials and ideas as an invitation to be like genuineally creepy even to people who aren't involved is fucking wild.
People hate women making money off of adult entertainment because exploitation was normalized for so long that any assertion of agency is an attack on the status quo. It's actually why I think we need SW decriminalized and Adult Entertainers to unionize, cause a lot of the stigma against the workers is due to industry conditions being so terrible.
I find it interesting that men that are into making sexual content aren't talked about as much or criticized as much as much as the women are that do the same profession. It could be because i only know about like two that actually use the label so they aren't as big as the others but equal grounds people
@@braindavidgilbert3147 Mainly propaganda lobbying. The industry benefits from workers and their work being devalued because it's easier to victimize people who lack support. If you want like a starter on the slander campaign against sex-work in the US and how that's both an extension and cause of terrible conditions, Intelextual Media did a history rundown of the field. ruclips.net/video/PPNbYtv0Gpo/видео.htmlsi=NnIQaK1tipuz7cTx
i mean, the arguably most popular vtuber gura is a long ways from being a lewd vtuber. (arguable because her subs and growth are ridiculous but other metrics like most concurrent viewers put others ahead, different perspectives put different vtubers as 'top')
To be fair this really seems to fall in the damned if you do, damned if you don’t category. Which sucks cause minding one’s business is like $free.99, and yet here we are.
Personally, I'm not really into the "lewd" side of Vtubers, or just streamers in general. Personally, I watch streamers, letsplayers, and stuff because they're _entertainers,_ not "models" or anything like that - I want to be _cheered up._ I'm also not a huge fan of the whole parasocial thing that a lot of Vtubers lean into, as I believe you should consider a streamer/Vtuber a friend or acquaintance AT MOST (I get that fans being parasocial is unavoidable, but there definitely are certain Vtubers/streamers that passively _encourage_ it because it gets them more views). So long story short, when I see a Vtuber that is _actively focusing on_ suggestive/NSFW content, I usually stay away from them, mostly because it's just not the kind of content I watch streams for. On the other hand... I believe there is _at least one VERY positive thing_ that's coming out about this, and that's the part about people _being more open_ about these kinds of things, rather than having it be some taboo that cannot be mentioned ever. I remember stumbling across a stream by complete accident (don't remember whose it was, unfortunately) where it was just two people sitting around, chatting about stuff like relationship dynamics, roleplaying, and what they are and aren't comfortable with. And you know what? I found that super _refreshing,_ hearing people talk about that so casually, and NOT trying to make the conversation as lewd/sus as possible. So I'm all for _that_ style of openness on the internet, because it feels so _honest._
In addition to people not thinking that the JP Vtubers can't be lewd also feels like it adds to the infantilization of East Asian women. It seems like people associate East Asian women with purity in their minds, so not thinking Japanese or other East Asain vtubers being lude. They also don't seem to have as much outrage at ID vtubers being spicy, but have issue when the vtuber is jp. It's very... questionable.
i mean tbf i've seen plenty of hate directed at e.g. Ollie, but a lot of that probably stems from how often she's collabed with men (& especially fleshtubers, GOD the vtuber community gets so weird about fleshtuber involvement) as that made her more of a target for this crowd
As a content creator, especially as a /trans/ content creator, this topic has been a LIFELONG point of contention for me. In my early twenties, I was very promiscuous in my engagements online and that translated into old content - the things I wrote, acted out, recorded, etc. and the communities formed along those things. (Not gonna go into it here; please nobody ask). There were many times where money became a part of that discussion. There was even a time I reached out to an adult actress and asked for advice on whether to fully commit because people around me were pushing me into that direction. That actress told me in a response email, "No, it is not worth it. It will ruin intimacy for you if you do." And now, every time discussions like these pop up, I always think back to that time and that email. And I wholeheartedly believe if you are going to market yourself as a commodity just to "get that bag," you are kind of being shortsighted and cheapening intimacy. IMO it isn't right to lead on an audience while remaining decisively emotionally distant from them for the sake of whaling them. And I have been around long enough to see how a lot of these entertainers will dabble into things like findomming on the side (or what they believe findomming is when it's really just whaling). Literally every lewdtuber has a throne account now. That's literally just "findom in name only." I actually favor entertainers who lean parasocial /without/ having purse strings attached. If you want to flirt with your fanbase (and provided everyone is a consenting adult), then you should be allowed to do that. Bring back the culture of free-love and all that. But if you don't feel that way about people, don't weaponize /their/ emotions. Even the freaks are real people who cry when they feel alone. And now that I'm 30, chronically ill and can't do half the promiscuous things I did in my 20s, having to rebuild my content around something completely different and more seiso is hard because people still /expect/ me to act the way I did in my 20s (doubly so because of the being trans stigma). And I look at all these lewd creators who are still in /their/ early 20s (though some are older) and don't have health problems yet and can't help but to wonder what they are gonna feel like when they lose that spark. Are they going to regret it? Because sometimes, I do. But hey, it's not like anyone cares what someone like me thinks anyway.
Just want to say I appreciate the insight! This video is more about viewer behavior but still, I think perspectives on the content creators' side are still relevant. Even though the public has become more accepting, there's a pretty heavy social stigma on people who are more sexually active, and I think that contributes to a lot of insecurity, resulting in both outward (lashing out at those who don't align with their moral views) and inward (sexual shame) reactions. I don't think we should judge people (and ourselves) based ONLY on how lewd or promiscuous they are, humans are pretty complex after all! As for parasocial relationships, I still think more responsibility should be placed on the viewers, after all, it's up to ourselves to actually go out there and build relationships, rather than relying on streamers/vtubers for our emotional support. Hopefully this doesn't come off as pushing back against your experiences, just my two cents on the topic. Wish you'd feel better about yourself and good luck on the rebranding and content creation!
That really makes no sense is that some people be making nsfw comments or fanart of Vtubers who publicly say they’re uncomfortable with it, but then hate lude Vtubers for inviting it 💀 LIKE YOU HAVE A SORCE THAT WELCOMING TO 18+ CONTENT AND YOURE NOT GOING TO USE IT
Another banger video from Taledo!! A topic that honestly needs to be discussed. As a big fan of Ina from Hololive, this is extremely relevant. It's tiring watching chat/fans try and take things in a sexual direction when the streamer is clearly uncomfortable. I personally don't go for that kind of content when watching streamers, the occasional joke is fine of course, but it's not what I'm looking for. Shout out to all the Vtubers who have made statements about this (most recently, based ace Rin Penrose) because it's hard to go against this toxic part of Vtuber culture, and the more they do it, the more accepted it will be, hopefully.
Weird phenomenon I've noticed is viewers of multiple vtubers expect them to act the same, or the chat to act the same That sh** changes Watch content you enjoy, don't try to change how people make their content Literally thousands of vtubers out there...
You are so real for saying that The amount of people I've seen who get all upset and whiney when a new vtuber debuts and this vtuber isn't catered to this one person's oddly specific preference (usually people I've seen were the type to go "no irl mentions, just a cute anime girl doing cute things, I don't care about her personality"), this person gets mad like they are owed every vtuber in the world. Insanity
@@kymbbm thanks 😊 I think we started off with vtubers who branded themselves as that (just an anime girl doin anime things uwu) But as the content has changed people kept wanting the same thing from different people, and getting mad when they didn't get This is where a lot of drama escalates from
You can tell the increase of quality in Taledo’s videos not to say that the old ones are bad. His new ones just have a different nice feel LYCORIS BANASHI VIDEO, RATING OF VIDEO GOES THROUGH THE ROOF 🗣‼️
13:39 ayoo das mee, its great to be apart of one of your vids! Honestly that shit still happens to me till this day but we stayin strong Love your vids and keep up the hard work ! Lets gooo road to 50k !
What I find is really toxic about most fan outlooks in this regard is the kind of "all or nothing" approach a lot of people have to it. It doesn't leave a lot of grey area for creators who might be a little spicy, or spicy in specific spaces, but it's not something they're comfortable with outside of those spaces. I vtube, and make a lot of lowkey spicy jokes, and as an atrist, make NSFW artwork on an alt account, but I try my best to never get *explicit* on main because I'm not really comfortable with it being actively turned on me. That has never stopped folks from getting nasty with me in chat though, and I really wish people would lean to pay attention to people's boundaries BEFORE launching right in to blatant sexual harassment. This was a really good summary and exploration of a lot of the issues I've been seeing. Thank you! Love you're vids. 💛
great video as always! im blown away by your effort in editing all these clips together (and overlayed!!!!) thanks for the shout out! you hit the points i didnt have time to go into so it works out great, covering the full range of this deep and convoluted topic! great work and congrats on the 20k, rising strong!!!
i don't hate or dislike the 'spicy' vtubers, it's just not to my taste, but i enjoy this type of video that discusses trends in the industry. it reminds me of commedians, how many either make tons of se* jokes or racist jjokes, but some don't, and you don't need to go into either of those fields to be successful.
15:22 FACTS. Especially in the anime community where women sexualizing men or taking advantage of other men are seen as funny and okay and omfg "that big breasted women from kobayashi is a obvious predator? That's so funny!" ANIME FANS ARE WEIRDDDDDDD
So almost all the spicy clips here you've used are people I sub/follow and I'm not sure how to feel about that. That being said, it's pretty transparent when people try to do lewdtube content because they think it's "the meta." It feels completely hollow, there's no reason to watch past 2min to see the model and move on. If you look at ProjeckMelody, the ultimate in spicy content, she would have been a 6 month novelty at best if she wasn't fun, engaging, and knowledgeable. So i think you're 100% right that it takes a lot more effort than some big tibbies and ara-ara's to maintain an audience.
First of all let's make clear that all lewd VTubers are not Melody. Melody knows exactly what she's doing, and I'm all for her breaking boundaries, but not all VTubers even want to cross that line. Second, I think both lewd and seiso are needed and most VTubers strike a balance between them. Ironmouse is more wholesome than Nyanners, for example. Neither of them is going to get banned for daring to collaborate with (gasp) men and ruining their "purity" but it's not all one thing or the other. Third, if you've ever been a guy lucky enough to be in a room with a bunch of girls when they're talking about "girl stuff", they can definitely get lewd. It isn't unusual.
The main gripe I have with this kind of content/side of vtubing is that some of the people are lacking in self awareness and it shows. They act completely unhinged on stream 80% of the time, but then proceed to complain about other vtubers who do that, despite literally acting the same. One example I can recall is with Bao, where one of her more recent shorts basically shows what I just described. It probably isn't a major or widespread issue, since I don't see it super often myself, but it's still something that just rubs me the wrong way. Vtubers can't just act a certain way and not expect others to act similarly to them. Once you get into a certain type of content, you gotta accept that and move with it. Of course you can still change it in your way that feels just right, but I think that you still need to be fully aware abotu what you're doing I'm not saying the content should be shunned upon forever, I think it's fine if it exists. But they can at least show that they are fully aware of what they are doing
It's so frustrating how many people, antis and regular creepy fans alike, forget it's actual people making content behind those anime avatars. It's so easy not to slut-shame or sexually harass people...
This is my deep respect as a wholesome Vtuber that I aspire because it’s just my comfort zone and preference (still always love this reccomended informative video)
0:04 that part of the Courage the Cowardly Dog meme really makes me laugh! Also gives me some nostalgia. These spicy Vtubers are really inappropriate....
Be lewd women, men, other individuals go off and be sexy its yourself and your bodies! Just please be aware of who's and what age range is viewing your content, how it affects other vtubers that you want to collab with and don't have child avatars I'M BEGGING DO.NOT.
To slightly misquote hood classic The Players's Club (a movie from 19-goddamn-98), they're just using what they got to get what they want. This shit ain't new. As far as marketing is concerned (such as it is), anyone else old enough to remember that one body wash or shampoo where the commercials had a woman taking a shower and she's moaning like she's getting her back blown out? The men weren't immune either. Some commercials would have a guy enter the shower right after, use that same product, and then sound like he's having most earth-shattering orgasm known to humankind. My point being that yeah, "seggs" absolutely sells. If you're tuning in and/or buying the products, then fission mucking accomplished.
Facts all around! I kind of wish I knew of that body wash commercial example cus that's also a really good example of marketing being affective at grabbing one's attention. 😅
Gonna be honest, I used to watch Numi, Bao, and Shylily about a year ago, I used to really like all the lewd and sex jokes when I first got into those three it was all fun and games until I realized that the longer I watched them the more it seems that that's all they do most of the time being indecent and lewd they barely even play games it got to the point that it become so tiring to me so whenever they try to talk about something else or serious, I just couldn't take them seriously anymore and I stopped watching all together and came to the conclusion, Hololive will always be the best in the industry because they can be lewd, they can be wholesome they play a lot of games, they're a bunch of comedians, they release great cover and original songs they have special events and festival every year the only problem is they are Japanese, well at least I only mostly watch the Japanese branch because the EN branch doesn't appeal to me that much..
What vtubers should expect from their audience depends on who they are on stream/in videos. Lewdtubers is a subset of vtubers, and the fans need to remember that. Not all of them want to engage in coomer-baiting. I hope Projekt Melody gets more sexually charged messages than someone like Ninomae Ina'nis. While I can see the appeal in lewding Ina, she clearly isn't doing anything to encourage it, while Melody actively engages in that side of the internet.
I mean, I won't say I hate spicy V-tubers but, I will say I just hate.. thier content. I am a sex-repulsed ace so... in those words I just stay away from that type of stuff INSTEAD of going to thier channels and hating on them. Still, I'm happy thier are non- "spicy" V-tubers. It makes life more fun for me and makes me less grossed out.
What I don't like about lewdtubers is when they being hypocritical. Like they don't like weirdos but they're enabling weird sht which attracts more weirdos. Like bruh, think before you speak or post in the internet
I don't think SusTubing is the meta - it was just low-hanging fruit when Vtubing first expanded beyond japan since there wasn't so much of it, and also is the content that would appeal to the western demographic most likely to easily accept vtubing as watchable. That said, porn is 90% of internet traffic, so it will probably remain one of the largest sectors of Vtubing. I also get a strong sense that the anti-Sus comments are religiously inspired - presumably from one of the abrahamic religions or from countries/cultures heavily influenced by one of them. People often forget that the internet and it's platforms are global, and english is not exclusivly spoken by english-speaking-culture members. There are many places in the world where the definition of a sex-worker literally is "showing a bit of skin to enhance marketing effectiveness" and they stumble into something a bit sus on a public platform, see something that disgusts them due to their cultural conditioning, and respond from that place - or due to cultural colour-blindness treat the creator as the sex-worker they see them as... Not making excuses for them, or condoning such ultra-censorial cultures, just saying that this seems to be a factor. Exposing judgmental cultures to liberated women also means exposing liberated women to judgmental cultures. Also, I would love to know the context of that butt-plug tail clip...
Taledo is one of the funniest youtubers ive ever seen omm😭 from the editing and memes to js his content in general and how he goes about making vids, hes literally my fav person to watch🫡
I don't know why anyone would hate someone gaining success from using their excellent business sense to tap into a market, probably partially why sex work continues to be stigmatized and scrutinized despite it being an industry as old as any other. But then again, I always find it fascinating how our society tries its hardest to be as inconsistent about sexuality as it can be, but since part of the charm point is sexuality being a "taboo" topic that entices people further like a primal thrill, can we say its a benefit or a curse that society is as lopsidedly hypocritical as it is sometimes?
I find the more the market is oversaturated the less appealing it gets for me and it lowers the bar for quality. Also you don't need to engage with this meta to succeed unless you are talentless. Those with no talent and a spicy model may succeed for a bit but will drop off but those with talent and with or without spicy content will keep the engagement.
Awesome video by the way! I’m not the biggest fan of Lewd Vtubers, but I don’t think they should be discredited since they centre their content around that.
i don’t mind lewdtubers or vtubers who do lewd content/jokes but their chats can get weird. It happens to female twitch streamers in general but I get weirded out and close the stream.
Personaly I don't watch lewd tubers it can feel kinds cringy at times so I preffer more seiso smaller streamers. If your looking for a cute seiso streamer who doesnt do lewd content I would recomend Gaming with Mim she's super wholesome and has a ton of cute Vtuber models it feels like each stream she is using a different one and they all fit what ever game she plays she is super under rated and gives off this vibe like she could actually be your friend. Also if anyone else has good streamer recomendations let me know yours
It's honestly so insane to me that people will reach out directly to tubers and just more or less assault them with words. People just be weird man. I'll also never get spending abhorrent amounts of money just to talk to some of these tubers. They're just people and the whole para-social relationship deal is weird.
I might not enjoy when streamers get spicy as it feels incredibly awkward, it ain't no reason to hate, just means to close the stream for now, and go watch one of the like 5000 other VTubers streaming at the moment, then return if you're fan of the streamer once they're done with the spicy stuff, as... it ain't a constant 24/7 spicy either, most of them are normal most the time, some exceptions exist of course. I mean, Melody is strangely wholesome and almost innocent when on Twitch most the time, and from what I see commenters say, even her alternate streams can be oddly wholesome despite what is happening. XD
Its really not as simple as "Just block and don't interact." It takes an inordinate amount of effort to filter out that stuff. One has to practically spend college class worth of time to prevent that stuff from appearing on the timeline, especially since simply liking a tweet from someone in those circles (for what was said in that individual tweet) is enough for the algorithm to then place you in that circle. All algorithms just push that stuff more than they push the opposite stuff, no matter how much work someone puts into trying to filter it out. It really mirrors how All Ages/Family Friendly actually DO suffer from the prevalence of spicy content creators. Since algorithms, clippers, and the audience majority gravitate toward spiciness, those who don't want to participate in that (for any number of very valid reasons) DO have to put in more effort for comparatively less initial return. Essentially being forced into a slow lane in which the vast majority will still never get to see success for their efforts, while also having to deal with people constantly treating "family friendly" as "targeted at children" (an incorrect, but also common, assumption), being labelled as 'prudes' (a derogatory in today's culture), disrespecting boundaries, being rude because they won't do anything lewd, attempting to trick them into saying lewd things, being unwilling/unable to keep things clean in a collab, being villainized for our community rules or limiting ourselves to collabs with the minority of creators we can actually vibe with and trust to not ruin our streams live (and forcing us to unlist our vods), and many more detriments that exist as a result of the prevalence of lewd creators in the same scene. Its really difficult to just stay in our lane and be fairly rewarded for the time and effort we put in. And, while most of us don't direct hate at individuals on the other side of the aisle, its still a fact that that entire sub-section of the vtuber scene impacts us negatively. Both directly and indirectly. Its the sad truth. Now, it should be OBVIOUS that stating the objective truth that one side has an easier time catching the eye and getting initial clicks does NOT inherently imply that those people don't still have to put in work to keep those viewers interested long-term. That's a foolish, yet all too common, misconception or attempt at attacking that truth simply because they don't like how hearing it said makes them feel. (The actually fitting 'pancakes, waffles' scenario that you incorrectly dismissed). Most of us aren't dumb enough to discount that effort. Potential, talent, and effort deserve to be rewarded. Its just sad that doesn't seem to apply to non-lewd vtubers in equal measure, which is actually why many on this side of the coin can become discouraged at times. Understandably and justifiably so, I might add. But we just have to say "It is what it is" and do our best to swim against the current because saying anything about it is often met with downplaying, demonizing, and being labeled incels. 🤷♂
Dude... If you feel like you need to be lewd to be 'fairly rewarded' with views and clips, I'm sorry to break the news but you're probably just boring.
Dude it literally IS that simple. See something you don't like on your fee? JUST SCROLL PASS IT. IT TAKES YOU LESS THEN A SECOND TO SCROLL PASS SOMETHING
Why do they always mention men when they talk about not liking spicy vtubers? Sounds like they hate men liking the content more than they hate the actual content. Maybe they just mad that men aren’t simping for them as much as they are simping for vtubers.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of spicy vtubers with their interactions with each other or tweets all over the web. 99% of their jokes are low hanging fruits or very forced. There's no build up or creativity towards it. I understand that seggs sells and it's at old as time but maybe I want to lmao and enjoy their creativity then actually thinking with my other head for two- or three-hour stream. Spicy vtubers or lewdtubers haven't ruined the market. It's more of them making a separate niche from the mainstream and up to you browse it or not. There's been plenty of times I've ignored some big corporation talents because they gotta get that same sexual tension to get more followers. I don't know the full drama behind the spicy vtubers and I know this video covered a handful of them or at least made us aware of them. Yeah, trust I'll be watching this again and pausing some parts of the videos to catch messages. I have no idea what your next topic is going to be about but if anything clicks I'll message here again on your channel or maybe your twitter (X). Your coverage is pretty amusing that I know watching a video or two will make me think about the topic at hand or watch another person who covers the same topic but in more detail.
Idk how to perfectly word my thoughts on this maybe I'm reading too much into it but I feel like the reason porn addict men constantly insult and degrade lewd vtuber women has to do with hatred of a woman having agency over her own sexuality. They don't like that she can do that.
The clearly fake reactions get grating sometimes. I just want a natural conversation, but the other end is too insecure to not constantly pander to the lowest common denominator in the audience.
A model can look like whatever you want, and sure it can attract people. But it's personality and handling of content that get people to stay, that retains a viewership, and that's what you want as a performer. I watch Melody because she's an adorkable geek. I watch Shylily because watching her content gets me to feel happy in a world that's increasingly afraid of everything. The word 'lewdsome' exists for people like Silvervale, Tricky, and shxtou who can strike at least something of a balance between lewd and wholesome. And a person who puts in effort to create something entertaining 1,000% deserves praise and credit for doing so. This doesn't go more for Snuffy or Momo more than it does for Ironmouse just because they're Indies and she's a corpo, especially when you see all the effort that goes into what they do. And they also deserve all the success all of their efforts have brought to them. Ironmouse #1 female streamer on Twitch, and from no or small audiences years ago? Heck yeah! VTubing _is_ just one of many media, and everyone who does the effort deserves the success they get. So let's leave the hate with the haters, and celebrate every success.
11:08 apparently the VTuber was in it so she was trying extra hard because otherwise she would accidentally doxx herself lmao Very creative but was probably horrifying
15:20 Wait some people don't know that? I have female friends tell meh that aswell. Non-consent / peer pressure sexual advances happens between female to females aswell o.o; If anyone remember Momokun
So to be honest with you, I'm ok with these types of contents, you know, sometimes they're funny and sometimes they're just there really i didn't mind honestly It's always funny with some dirty jokes but some people have said it does feel. A lot forced and it does get awkward 💁🏾♂️ I'm not gonna bash people and say they shouldn't make this content i support NSFW but TwT you can't erase that awkward feeling that I get when they do this, there's only 2 people I know are maybe a few more people who can successfully pull this off without me feeling awkward Vox uki shoto and more TwT they know how to balance it out

"You have to be a lewd Vtuber in order to grow."
[Glances at Rin Penrose]
Are you sure about that?
Rin is smth even better, *crazy and bri'ish*
i mean, the arguably most popular vtuber gura is a long ways from being a lewd vtuber. (arguable because her subs and growth are ridiculous but other metrics like most concurrent viewers put others ahead, different perspectives put different vtubers as 'top')
You mean 🅱️in 🅱️enrose?
Kenji too, I freaking love kenji
We stan our ace Prince 🔥
They haven't seen Tamapeoject yet lol
i mean tbf i've seen plenty of hate directed at e.g.
It will ruin intimacy for you if you do."
And now, every time discussions like these pop up, I always think back to that time and that email. That's literally just "findom in name only."
I actually favor entertainers who lean parasocial /without/ having purse strings attached.
Naw ain't gonna read any of that lol I dipped when I saw the T word lol
@@squalleonkeneddyheart4191uhm, okay? No one really gives a shit.

"As a Trans content creator"? CRINGEWORTHY.
That really makes no sense is that some people be making nsfw comments or fanart of Vtubers who publicly say they’re uncomfortable with it, but then hate lude Vtubers for inviting it 💀
LIKE YOU HAVE A SORCE THAT WELCOMING TO 18+ CONTENT AND YOURE NOT GOING TO USE IT
9:17 mainly /vt/
bruh, the irony of this is incredible, them being the main chunk of horndogs of vtuber community just creates dissonance.
Sanest /vt/ users.

Weird phenomenon I've noticed is viewers of multiple vtubers expect them to act the same, or the chat to act the same
That sh** changes
Watch content you enjoy, don't try to change how people make their content
Literally thousands of vtubers out there...
10 000+ to be exact
You are so real for saying that
The amount of people I've seen who get all upset and whiney when a new vtuber debuts and this vtuber isn't catered to this one person's oddly specific preference (usually people I've seen were the type to go "no irl mentions, just a cute anime girl doing cute things, I don't care about her personality"), this person gets mad like they are owed every vtuber in the world. Insanity
@@kymbbm thanks 😊
I think we started off with vtubers who branded themselves as that (just an anime girl doin anime things uwu)
But as the content has changed people kept wanting the same thing from different people, and getting mad when they didn't get
This is where a lot of drama escalates from
You can tell the increase of quality in Taledo’s videos not to say that the old ones are bad. His new ones just have a different nice feel
LYCORIS BANASHI VIDEO, RATING OF VIDEO GOES THROUGH THE ROOF 🗣‼️

13:39 ayoo das mee, its great to be apart of one of your vids!
Honestly that shit still happens to me till this day but we stayin strong
Love your vids and keep up the hard work !
I really enjoy how Toledo is getting more and more popular and I’m assisting it 😭😭😭❤️
great video as always! im blown away by your effort in editing all these clips together (and overlayed!!!!) thanks for the shout out! you hit the points i didnt have time to go into so it works out great, covering the full range of this deep and convoluted topic! great work and congrats on the 20k, rising strong!!!
I knew that the sexual harassment vtubers face is bad, but seeing that and racism combined adds a whole new level of fucked
i don't hate or dislike the 'spicy' vtubers, it's just not to my taste, but i enjoy this type of video that discusses trends in the industry.
it reminds me of commedians, how many either make tons of se* jokes or racist jjokes, but some don't, and you don't need to go into either of those fields to be successful.
15:22 FACTS. Especially in the anime community where women sexualizing men or taking advantage of other men are seen as funny and okay and omfg "that big breasted women from kobayashi is a obvious predator? That's so funny!" ANIME FANS ARE WEIRDDDDDDD
but most of that is written by men, made for men though
So almost all the spicy clips here you've used are people I sub/follow and I'm not sure how to feel about that.
That being said, it's pretty transparent when people try to do lewdtube content because they think it's "the meta." It feels completely hollow, there's no reason to watch past 2min to see the model and move on. If you look at ProjeckMelody, the ultimate in spicy content, she would have been a 6 month novelty at best if she wasn't fun, engaging, and knowledgeable. So i think you're 100% right that it takes a lot more effort than some big tibbies and ara-ara's to maintain an audience.
Noooo not Yam, poor bat. Also thank you for another amazing video! I get more information from this than my daily dive into the internet
It isn't unusual.
it's been the first 30 seconds of the video, and I'm definitely on a government watchlist for that intro.
Of course you can still change it in your way that feels just right, but I think that you still need to be fully aware abotu what you're doing
I'm not saying the content should be shunned upon forever, I think it's fine if it exists. But they can at least show that they are fully aware of what they are doing
Bao does this in a way that makes it obvious that she's being sarcastic
It's so frustrating how many people, antis and regular creepy fans alike, forget it's actual people making content behind those anime avatars. It's so easy not to slut-shame or sexually harass people...
This is my deep respect as a wholesome Vtuber that I aspire because it’s just my comfort zone and preference (still always love this reccomended informative video)
chocolate temptation is crazy 😂 great video
This my friends, is why I have my older brother as my twitch mod, bro WILL throw hands 😭😭😭😭
bro ngl these videos are so good
I mean, I won't say I hate spicy V-tubers but, I will say I just hate.. thier content.
I’m not the biggest fan of Lewd Vtubers, but I don’t think they should be discredited since they centre their content around that.
lewdtubers are mostly in Twitch, because it's allowed there.
Your videos are fun !! I’m glade more people find your videos!!

i don’t mind lewdtubers or vtubers who do lewd content/jokes but their chats can get weird. It happens to female twitch streamers in general but I get weirded out and close the stream.
Another video another string of facts. This is the content I subscribed for.
But you stay away from my Pop-Tarts
That one comment Taledo got was BAD holy shit
Zone-Tan is the OG of sus vtubers lmao
How popular have Murder Drones gotten? i am starting to see it everywhere now
Taledo, I hope i never make your list of sus lol...Great video and love your editing! Hope you are well!
XD
Its really not as simple as "Just block and don't interact."
It takes an inordinate amount of effort to filter out that stuff.
I love your videos man! You have a great vibe!
i love ur the clip of tomoko spinning away at the end of ur vids

YOU DIDNT JUST EAT U GOBBLED THIS UP ILY

I think I'm following half of the vtubers featured in this video.
How long until LewdTubers start doing mainstream adult films in the future for real?
This is why Vtubers like Fillian, Chibidoki, Rin Penrose and also Seiso Vtubers like Fuwamoco exist to balance the Yabainess 😂😂
