- These relaxing stretches for stiff and sore muscles can help relax the whole body. Perform each stretch for about 20-30 seconds for the perfect full body stretch. More full body stretching with Dr. Jo: • Real Time Full Body St...
Starting off with your neck and working your way down, you will do neck or cervical rotations, neck sidebends, shoulder circles, and scapular or shoulder squeezes. You don’t have to hold these stretches, this is just to get the muscles moving to relax them.
Then you will go into a trunk rotation, hamstring stretches, and thoracic or upper back side bends.
Finally, a whole body stretch making big circles from above your head to your toes will do a great job of relaxing those stiff muscles. Then to finish, some deep breathing will help get some increased oxygen into your system. You can do the deep breathing with your chest area or diaphragmatic breathing from your belly.

I didn’t realize how tight my body is until now
I have been struggling being inside and at the PC a lot for school. I knew I felt stiff this morning because my arms and legs weren't working. I already feel loosened up from one go at this video. I'm going to make this part of my daily routine. THANK YOU SO MUCH! It's a game changer.

I have extremely bad depression and anxiety.. and I tend to lay in bed most days and not do much. I have been feeling extreme back and shoulder pain lately, and these stretches legit changed my night from the last year of nights. Thank you so freaking much 😭❤️

I cane here for basically the same reasons. It's so hard to get motivated when all you want to do is sink into that dark place and stay in bed. It's taken a big toll on my body and these stretches helped me a lot too :)

I've been very busy with studies and all and my posture and physical mannerisms are really bad, did this while fasting before going to sleep and I really felt the tightness in all my muscles
For about a month/month and a half I stretched every day or at least 5 days a week and then I for some reason ended up stopping. Well today I was feeling really sore and I could just tell my muscles were really tight so I looked up stretches for sore muscles and I found your video, thank god I did too! I feel so much better after doing these simple stretches and I know I’ll definitely be stretching to one of your other videos tonight as well!! Thank you 💜

So I have an appointment with a special test the other day and cuz I have what's called frozen shoulder and the doctor was asking me to relax while he was pulling my arm and stuff out but I was not able to so how would I be able to do that rather it be here home or in the doctor's office again

Hi Doc, the top part from knees to hip. when I walk my knees make a sound like crunching crisps, I was told to strengthen my legs.

Hi Dr Jo, I have lower back pain and leg pain diagnosed with mild disc prolapse and piriformis muscle problem. My doctor recommended to me to add a bit more weight and gain muscle strength. My BMI is 20.6 but I have little belly fat. Is there any problem if I'm doing plank exercise.

Hi, I have problem so whenever I exert pressure on my muscles. Could be forearm for gym or could be thighs while playing football, my muscles start paining a lot like a stinging pain and after all the tests nothing has been found and ultimately they told me that I have stiff muscles and need to relax them. The pain isn't there while sitting idle but it comes back when I exert force upon it. I haven't been able to work out for months now. Hopefully this helps and can you suggest something else
