I'm a 15 year old that has been fixing a restoring pcs for a long time since a was 12, my classmates when they have a problem or they want me to fix or give them advices on pcs they go ask me, btw really good video keep it up. Greeting from Italy
I've been repairing PCs as a hobby for 38 years and am now 50. I would like to go looking for a PC with you. I can also see within 1 second whether I can still use the PC or not. Greetings from switzerland!
You must find dumpsters tailored to what you're looking for. It can be anything really. If you want to get back into it try thift stores. Tons of electronics
Yes, you should. If someone is willing to pay for it, they are likely to use it, that is a huge win for everybody. You get a little money, 10kg if ewaste doesn't go to the landfill, and someone saves money on something they want or need.

I've had a lot of fun repurposing or rebuilding old pcs. Some of these systems are perfectly fine for basic computing or even gaming.
Great job saving a PC from a landfill and selling it for profit. I hope you can sell it and get some money out of it.
Yessir
Now lets install GTA or RDR on it......
I thought 6th gen was DDR4, ah does supports DDR3 - but careful, it should be 1.35V DDR3L
Yeah I put ddr3l. Some 6th gens use d3. It's strange
Nice save. Do these have an M.2 slot on the mainboard or was that later on these HPs?
No M.2, unfortunately, this is a Dell
hah yeah I'm not paying attention lol@@TheMagicDumpster
Any particular type of dumpsters you find this sort of stuff in? I remember diving years ago, but it's been 20+ years, so I'm kinda out of practice.

What kind of places like this do you go to to find recycled computer hardware and such?
Recycling centers , side of the road, random dumpsters
Why do you have to use your phone lamp to work?
It works fine
