So this is the exact computer I have, and happened to look up how to upgrade it and found your vid which was only posted 2 weeks ago. Crazy stuff considering I bought the pc 7-8 years ago lmao So since the video is so recent I figured I could take the opportunity to ask a question or two and hopefully get answers :3 1. Could you maybe show what the inside of the upgraded PC looks like, so if I decided to go this route I could go about upgrading easier? I've never built or upgraded a PC before and despite decently knowing what I'm doing, having at least several clear images of the upgraded PC would help a ton. 2. Is it also possible to upgrade the power supply? If so, which would you recommend? 3. Related to the last question; If you can upgrade the power supply, does that mean you could get a better graphics card than the one you mention here in the video? Again, if so, which would you recommend? I think that's all I got questions wise :3 Regardless of whether I get any answers or not, thanks a bunch for the video! Very helpful for me for sure, made sure to subscribe and watch the ads all the way through for your revenue
This is just an easy hassle free upgrade. But you can get way more out of this computer if you upgrade the power supply. But you need a atx 24 pin to 8 pin converter. They cost like 5-7 bucks. As for power supply, just get a 80+ certified power supply with 450-500 watt. Will cost around 20-30. Make sure it has a 8 pin pcie connector. I will do another video of this computer in fully upgraded condition.
You can use a small form factor power supply. Fits just fine. You have to drill some holes for the screws, though. And a 24pin to 8 pin ATX adaptor for motherboard power.
@@blue_donut_dog ready or not can run on 1060 gpu. This system had similar specs. You should be Okey. But lower the settings and turn on fsr to get better performance.
@@coolStranger516 thank you I was gonna get a PC cause i wanted to play with my friend and ready or not was the main game so you helped a lot thanks again
Thank you so much, is there some way to upgrade the motherboard to use a better cpu with integrated graphics? Or upgrade the motherboard to use a better cpu and a better gpu?, don't matter if I need to buy the power supply thank you 😊 I know the power supply don't will fit but I don't care if I neet to leave it out the case 😊
Changing motherboard means changing everything. Not worth it. Changing case won't work because it has a unique power button. You can get a i5 6400 cpu. I know for sure it works. If you are feeling crazy then you can cut the power supply opening with some metal tool and put a standard power supply in there. Then you can put a 1660 ti gpu in there. That would literally double the performance.
@@coolStranger516 wow brother, you are amazing, I have an i7 6700 but I don't feel to much change in performance using the i3 that come with the PC, do you think if it's better buy a i7 6700k? Or a GPU?
@@mazapancito05 see if you can fit a standard power supply in it. if can Then get a 1660 ti GPU. otherwise, buy a low-powered GPU like 1050 ti or rx 580 2048sp with 6 pin power.
@@mazapancito05 I am gonna post a video about the Dell 3670 upgrade tomorrow. which has the same case as this one. Check that out for more helpful info.
do you know if its possible to fit a normal atx power supply inside? I have an EVGA 500BQ and it doesn't fit, so I have to run my GTX 1060 externally off of a 2nd power supply.
Yes you can. I fit a regular psu in 3670, which is thr same case as this. But you have to cut off a little section at the back and grill some holes at the bottom so heat from Psu can escape.
Bro do you think can I use a GTX 1070 not the Rx 580? I think is more powerful and it use less watts, if you can answer I will be glad, let me know if I need a special cable or something to power it
Check ebay and Facebook marketplace. Try to get the whole thing instead of buying things separate. Search for dell desktop. Discard all slim type of desktops. Those are not useful.
Sir thanks so much for your video. I have a dell desktop and I want to update its CPU to intel i5 14th generation. So it is entirely doable to do it diy, right?
Do u think we could get onna call or smth and u help me cause I litterly can’t play valorant anymore without playing 30 fps I’ll buy all the parts that u want me to I just don’t understand the installing part

Hey bro, it's not possible to install a new psu in this. Because the psu opening isn't big enough to insert a standard size psu.

Would an i7-6700 work as a good cpu upgrade or would an i5-6400 be better for temps?
Stay with core i5. Even if i7 works it would work very unefficiently. Because psu is only 350 watt and cpu cooler is not that great.

I didn't replace the power supply but it's possible. you have to cut out the extra metal part at the back.

1070 will give you much better performance. But it will require an 8 pin power connector. Then you must replace the power supply.
@@coolStranger516 but the Rx 580 use 185 Watts and the GTX 1070 just use 150 Watts, or maybe I'm wrong?
@@mazapancito05 yea that's the full size original rx 580. The gpu used in this video is an rx 580 2048sp. It consumes lot less power than a 1070.
What websites do I get all these on and the i5 6400 is 100 smth dollars

Sir thanks so much for your video. I have a dell desktop and I want to update its CPU to intel i5 14th generation. So it is entirely doable to do it diy, right?
This computer only takes 6th gen cpu. A core i5 6500 would be your best choice if you are talking about this computer.
would a gtx 1060 work with the i5 3650
This pc takes 6th gen Core i5. So, i5 3650 won't work. Gtx 1060 would work but you have to upgrade power supply.
stupid dell inspiron is pissing me off when i cant play roblox and have tabs open on google without it turning to a snail. i think i might try it
If you can just get a low tdp gpu like 1050 ti. And you would be able to run pretty much anything.

Valorant doesn't need much gpu power. Just buy an amd firepro w 5100 gpu and you should be able to run valorant. Upgrade the cpu to i5 6400.
