I have this motherboard, bios update is 4.30, I just installed my new gpu, should I upgrade my bios? because my pc lags after installing the new gpu

Keep in mind specific ram might be hard to find. I got 3200mhz 16gbx2 for 31$

When i use psxtopsp and trueancestor and rifgen, i can play games on hen just fine in the downloaded rom is just one bin and one cue file. However if the game i want has multiple bin files i use a program like psxvcd or cdmage to merge the bin files into one (using the cue file) and then follow the exact same steps that i use for the games that only have one bin file by default, but i always get a startup error and the game won’t launch. I only run into this issue when i download a game with multiple bin files, then compress them into one bin file and install as i normally would. Anyone know a fix?

Hi there! I'm facing this issue at the moment. My motherboard (B550M-K) only has CHA_FAN (chasis fan) headers. I dont have any RGB/ ARGB headers so the RGBs of my two intake fans are not lighted up. Any tips ? I want to get the RGBs to light up. Thanks a bunch! 🙏🏻

Hi, I'm having the same issue with a ASRock B450M Pro 4. However, here's the weird part - I had a Gen 3 nvme running in M.2 slot 1 and a SATA SSD running in M.2 slot 2, both in perfect harmony with one another. Before this issue arose, the motherboard had a Ryzen 3 1200 in it but it was holding the GPU back, so I put a 5600X in there and suddenly the nvme drive in slot 1 stopped showing. The steel legend and Pro4 are practically the same I believe, just the latter is a bit cheaper with some slightly lower specs on negligible components. Do you know a fix for this? Is it a potential bandwidth conflict between the new CPU and the nvme drive? Thanks

Hey but I'm still stuck, I'm trying to install windows 11 on my nvme ssd in the ultra m.2 slot. But it's not popping up when it asks me where I want to install windows 11 on, hence I'm stuck there. I don't think my bios is reading it either.

I have a B550 phantom gaming 4 AC board with one M.2 Slot, it was working fine when I got it, but I had no good GPU, I plugged an old HD Radeon 5000 1gb AMD card just to get to the BIOS , and It was reading my only M.2, but after shutting down the PC for 1 week it stop working, and there was no BOOT device found!. I tried cleaning the M.2 and also blowing Air to the Port, and it was not Recognizing my Solidigm P41 Plus Series 1 TB M.2 2280, So I have 3 Choices: 1: Since I updated BIOS for my new RX 7800xt and that didn't fix the M.2 problem, I have to RMA the Board and get a new one! or get my fcking money BACK, what a sht Brand, First I had RAM incompatibility with my old Ripjaws from G.Skill (no post due to ram), Then this NVME sht, F... RMA or Refund, what a scam. 2: I recently borrowed an Old HDD , so tomorrow I will install the sata cable and try to boot Windows 10 and UPDATE 2 things "Motherboard Chipset Drivers & download the solidigm drivers tool sht they ask you to download I have no idea why solidigm.com/support-page/drivers-downloads/ka-00085.html 3: Never fcking Buy ASROCK ever again, for $108 USD a Board with Wifi was cheap, but man, those 60 USD I saved gave me a HARD TIME, So my advise is NEVER GO CHEAP , go purchase a GOOD Brand with good Tech support and sht, Ill comeback if I fix my problem. To be fair there are weaker cpus out there that you can get, this pc isn't as weak as some people think.

I had many FX Cpu's, never had any issues.

not a power point presentation of a game!! reminded me of the times one had to buy magazines to find out about tricks in games.

I move the hard drive bay upward and can fit a much bigger gpu if i wanted and you do not need to buy a key there are legal and safe ways to use windows without buying a new key for windows. For most people they should get a new key though.

Couple ideas: 1)That's not rivets on the case lid. That is spot weld. Just bend it side by side using big pliers and and spots will crack 2)There is black plastic part with "air jets" in front of GPU. It can be removed and you can install longer GPU

You probably should use overclocked 3600+ RAM with this APU, because the graphical performance depends a lot on memory latency and bandwith. You might get it work at 3800 MT/s 1900 MHz FCLK with some luck.
