Such a good run. Brubaker is obviously a great writer, but this run also did well with the art, which just isn’t something you can take for granted over the last 20 or so years.
What a phenomenal run by Brubaker. I'm reading through the Trial of Captain America omni right now and I'll definitely be getting this one to complete the set.
INCREDIBLE!! From the 2022 Top 20 Most Wanted list!!! I love this new printing cover, and it fits PERFECTLY with the other Cap omnibuses! Thanks for this AWESOME video, Omar! Love it!
Got this pre-ordered. Collected *Captain America Lives* and *Trial of Captain America* Now to pray those first two titles get a reprint in the next year or two 🤞 only then will I tackle the run. Artwork looks amazing and only heard solid hype for this saga
I am tempted to get this as I like the Bucky focused stuff from Brubaker's run especially the flashback stories especially from Bucky's time as a the Winter Soldier in the 50's and 60s.
I need to read Ed Brubaker's Captain America run before the Dimension Z Arc where he raises his son Ian. And Return of the Winter Soldier is just the way to do it.
That DM cover really pops! In the absence of Donnelly I really like the build and paper stock of those Mega Print books. I don’t have many more planned to buy for the rest of the year but I’m looking forward to this one. Thanks Omar!
Any chance there will be a restock of the DM variants of both this omni and the Waid Daredevil? These sold out super fast on IST and CGN and perhaps Mr Gabriel could say whether there will be more in the pipeline soon....
Good to see this back in print. Hopefully we get a companion collection with Winter Solider #15-19 and Captain America and Friends #629-640 to round it out. Could also throw in the Escape from the Negative Zone story from the Steve Rogers/Uncanny/Namor annuals.
Thanks Omar for the video and for the Top 20s that see these books reprinted. This completes my Brubaker set too so really pleased. Do the reprint spines match up with the original printing spines stylistically?
Would be nice if they could make 2 or 3 massive omnis instead of spreading through 5 runs. Would be cheaper to collect with just 2 runs. Il just dream about buying them
OMG, a Marvel Omni reprint which keeps the original graphic design and doesn't ruin your shelves with ugly mismatching if you have old printings for the previous issues of the run. Someone at Marvel will be fired for such an heresy.

I'm finishing up vol. 4 as well. Such a great run. Can't wait for that final volume to come next week.
Finally finishing up my Brubaker Cap set

Yeah, those Brubaker royalties, right there on the back cover!!
So happy to finish this awesome story in omni form!!

For those of us that missed the first omnibus in this run, think we will get a chance anytime soon for re-print? Sounds amazing!
Lets pray for it

Hoping vol 1 gets a repint
Oh man, I was really hoping we'd get another cool layout under the jacket like vol 4 did ☹️

I am that guy, I like Winter Soldier more than Cap, I like Beta Ray Bill more than Thor, I like Azrael and Thomas Wayne more than Batman
I agree on liking Winter Soldier more than Cap.
