I do agree on your point here Omar. I miss this cosmic Marvel era too, they were really rocking on all cylinders when they did the Annihilation comics and all that followed. I wish we had a lot of these characters and creators kicking around now, just imagine a monthly oversized anthology book set in that area of the MU. The more recent Guardians book and line-up's just don't cut it for me now.
Got my notification that mine is on my way like 10 minutes before this episode released. Pretty stoked. I'll be honest I was a fan of the Inhuman/Kree marriage honestly. Id love a reprint of Realm of Kings and War of Kings Prelude Omnibus.
Now own mountains of Omnis. The 3 War of Kings books were probably the first 10 Omnis I bought and read. To this day, still probably close to my favorite series. Love, love, love! If you even remotely enjoy Cosmic, this is a must have.
Havok was awesome in this and my boy Black Bolt. I hated what they did to my boy Darkhawk. He had a ship where he could make any weapon and they changed it and made him generic lol.
Guardians by Abnett and Lanning was one of my first Omnibus! I enjoyed it but felt like I was missing set up and tie inns. Bought ANNIHILATION and CONQUEST, than Road to WOK and REALM two years ago now. Finally I can complete this set. Thanks Omar!

I want the Prelude and Aftermath omnibuses too ... Any chance to get them? They have some ridiculous prices in the few places where you can get them ... But hell yeah, ordering this :)

Just want to point out Vulcan attacking the wedding was retaliation. Black Bolt started the war in his anger against the Skrulls after Secret Invasion. He was pursuing the Skrulls into Shi’ar space and destroyed ships to get to the Skrulls. The Inhumans started the war. This was in the Secret invasion: Inhumans I believe. Post SI
Love this book, I way overpaid for my copy but it was worth it at the time to finish the Cosmic Saga. Happy to see that they are re-releasing it so that people can finish their collection! A must buy for everyone that likes cosmic Marvel (or Sci-Fi in general)
Finally getting into this book and the spine is a bummer. Super tight and doesn't let the book layover well. Glad i sprung on old printings of prelude and aftermath because those lay over super nicely. Awesome book thus far thought nonetheless.

I voted for the prelude and aftermath in the 2024 most wanted reprints, but regrettably neither made the top 20 in the end. I still ordered this from CGN, but sorta disappointed for new collectors it won’t be anytime soon to have the full story reprinted by Marvel.
I think the slight increase in bleed through could be down to the darker colours in the new printing rather than paper thickness. Also it looks like the slightly darker inks in the new printing looks richer and more colourful than the old printing. Just a pity about that terrible cropping of the outer wraparound on the book itself - I mean cutting a face in half - what were they thinking? Otherwise it’s a solid purchase - thanks for the excellent in depth review as ever Omar 👍😎
Personal preference I go for the lighter colors unless it’s something with lots of whites. Then I prefer darker tones on the colors. Hope that makes sense.
Would love to have the confidence to buy this but it's been 6 years since prelude and aftermath's printings with no word or reprints for at least the next year.
I'm guessing it's because the original publication date passed. I've noticed that when dates get pushed back, IST doesn't update to reflect it and when the initial date passes, the items dissappear from the site. However, they always go back up on the actual release date and it's never been a problem for me. I hope this helps!

I have the original and was considering getting this one if the mapping laid the issues in with the 6 issue main series but guess they didn't, oh well 😕
The problem with the mapping is that all 6 issue main series are put together right? The build-ups & tie-ins BEFORE the main series, are they mapped well? Thanks for your insight.

For a strictly X-Men collector, do you think this Omnibus is a must have or sticking with the TPBs is enough?

Personal preference I go for the lighter colors unless it’s something with lots of whites. Then I prefer darker tones on the colors. Hope that makes sense.
