I’ve only read the stuff in the Thanos Wars Omnibus, but I really like Adam Warlock’s character in there. Especially issue #15 and Avengers Annual #7… You get to see him realize his purpose and what being a hero truly means!
Jim Starlin is amazing. Love his art and writing.
Yeah I was skimming through his Mongul story and realized how good it was even for it’s time, so I wanted to read more.

I’ve read 2/3 of the stories in this, but still looking forward for its arrival. I ordered the Gil Kane cover.
Kane,. is one of my favorite artist. He has really heavy lines which can bug me sometimes and lose detail but he’s one of my favorites. And a great.
@@LoreLord- I love Gil Kane on Green Lantern and the Atom, but I haven’t gotten used to him yet on the Marvel characters, except for Spider-Man depending on who’s inking him.

I never knew the story of Adam Warlock! Thanks Omar for this video. I have to rewatch this again.
My first exposure to Adam Warlock was in Infinity Gauntlet where i grew to love the character even more as years went by. Having said that its hard for me to read anyone else writing AW besides Starlin, as he had such a unique sense of his voice and personality that made it really stand out. Never read these early Starlin AW stories but they are the only ones I'm really interested in.
I may pass on this and wait for a Starlin Epic collection later (hopefully) but happy for others who want this book, its a great collection.
Adam Warlock is my all-time favorite character so I will buy this even though I already have the Masterworks (and the reprint series from 1982 and 1992). What is nice with this Omnibus is that a lot of issues (Fantastic Four, Thor, The Incredible Hulk Annual, Marvel Two-in-One single issues) have been added compared to the Masterworks. This is more complete. With this being published, I now hope Warlock and the Infinity Watch will get an Omnibus followed by a third one collecting his other limited series and appearances including his time in the Ultraverse universe!

I'm getting this. First introduced to the character in Silver Surfer in the buildup to Infinity Gauntlet. Then went back and enjoyed the Jim Starlin run. The stuff prior to Starlin will be new to me. I've ordered the Starlin cover.

This Warlock omnibus is very good. However, what's really needed is a scorecard denoting every timeline.
It's at least a quadruple dip for me! I have all the original Starlin-authored floppy comics (essentially everything that's in the Gallery Edition) - most bought off the stands way back when; I also have the black and white Essential Warlock; I have the original trade paperback marvel masterwork versions of the Thomas/Kane Warlock era; I have the beautiful Marvel Masterwork hardcover collection of the Starlin run; I have the Thanos Origins book; I have the Gallery Edition ... and yes I'm most certainly going to be getting this new Warlock Omnibus (as I want to have the original run in omnibus format)!!
I like Adam Warlock but this Omni is too much double dipping for me. A chunk of the issues I already have spread across the Thanos Omni and Fantastic Four so even though it's only really 1/3 of the book, it's a little too much to justify dropping the money for me at least.

A last, one of my favourites gets his omnibus. I have the essential, the special editions, the original issues, the masterworks, the trades, the gallery edition - so will I be getting this? - heck yes!
One mini gripe, would love to have seen Thor 134-35 collected (first High Evolutionary and Man Beast) that would have made for a perfect collection. Along with Nova, and with Genis-Vell due soon in omnibus format, it's a happy time. Just need Quasar next.
Hope an Infinity Watch omni will also follow ....

This is a great collection following a character from Kirby's initial conception through Roy Thomas' biblical take to Starlin's Ditko-infused sci-fi epic that brings Thanos and Gamora to the forefront that ultimately wraps in style with the annuals. What a trippin' trip!
think I will be sticking with the thanos inifinity origin omni for my warlock fix
Is there enough material that they could cover for more omnis to follow up this one. I haven’t actually read any Adam Warlock but the new movie and the guardians game a few years ago got me interested.

How much of this book a double dip of comics found in the Thanos Wars Omnibus? Can somebody tell me hoe many comics are note double dip from the other Omnibus of Thanos?
The following 21 issues aren't in the Thanos Wars Omnibus : Fantastic Four #66-67, Thor #165-166, Marvel Premiere #1-2, Warlock #1-8, The Incredible Hulk #176-178, The Incredible Hulk Annual #6 and Marvel Two-in-One #61-63.
I’m a little on the fence while I am extremely interested in the biblical homage of warlock.
I already have the guardians of the galaxy classic origins omnibus. So I have a bunch of the warlock issues.
I got to see how many I am missing that I would get in this book.
Honestly having read digitally the Warlock issues pre Starlin, im gunna pass on this and get the gallery edition of Starlin's Adam Warlock. To me those are the best stuff. Great preview though!

Quasar would be an automatic buy in omnibus, for me! Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze and Dazzler are great in Masterworks, for me.
Mine arrived damaged same as Nova these are done so cheap these days thin paper and rush jobs on printing
Skip this and just get the Thanos Wars Omni and you're set! You won't miss much.
Okay, now I'm genuinely not sure how to pronounce "Thanos" anymore. (This isn't like comic creators' names where I have all of the answers, lol.)

I really never cared for most cosmic Marvel outside Fantastic Four before the Annihilation and hearing it's an IMAK book I'm sure going to skip this one
