@@victorlowe no lol it can only go 2 ways and I've got it the right way it doesn't fit on the closed system it fits on the open system but the metal rods scrape against the under side of the m10. how you finding yours
You won’t need a refund 😊😉 But you will need an adjustable mounting block, which you will get for free. If the cocking rods scratch, you will get replacement rods. We are known for that 😄😉 Please reach out to our support, using the form on our website.
@@geraldmissbach7100 the cooking rods scratch it so bad and cause so much resistance it is unfireable. I'm in England I had to pay 47 pound import charges ontop of the price of the m10. I carnt afford to be paying more in import charges for your mistake. your support want pictures of my body's I've told them what's wrong I shouldn't have to jump through hoops. I have 4 body's 3 open which the m10 fits onto but is unfireable because of resistance of cocking rods and it doesn't fit onto the closed system atall. I used to be a massive steambow fan check how much I've spent on your website and tatical archery in the uk but I'm turning into a steambow enemy. it was a long enough wait plus the way you never added a laser slot so you have to spend more money in the future was bad and now I've got an m10 here which I've been waiting since March for. and all I can do is look at it its about a much use as a chocolate teapot. I've lost faith ask your support to send me the rods or send me me my money back. thanks sam 👍🏻
Hello Steambow. I recently received my M10. However I did not receive my Bonus Preorder magazine…. I will email Steambow with my order details & hope they can fix this.
Hey Sparky! Me again 😂. How you getting on with the M10? I’m tempted to upgrade but I’m just not sure I need more than 5 consecutive shots, like I already have in the ordinary Stinger2. But still, I know you’ll give me an accurate account of the M10, so what are your thoughts? Also are you considering picking up the Reno 7 or Mey Intercepter or will you wait and see what Steambow come up with next?
@@LukeRUclips-k6c Hey Luke! We meet again 😂 the M10 is good for its purpose, having 10 shots & a quick exchange of magazines is great to have. It depends on your purpose of having / using a crossbow.. if it’s for messing around in the garden target shooting, then yeah the original 6 shot Stinger2 is fine. Due to the way it loads & holds the bolts in place from above, having different amount of pressure on the bolt depending on how many bolts in the stack means that with each bolt fired in the stack will have slightly different accuracy. So for plinking in the garden it’s fine.. Now if we’re talking about home defence etc.. that’s a different issue. For home defence, more arrows means more ammo which means a better chance of survival. & of course better accuracy means better survival. However… given the REVO7 & Mey Interceptor (both I’ve pre ordered lol) I initially thought the Mey Interceptor was going to be the best of everything, it has a bottom fed magazine (like an AR15) & the way the mags work means they have even pressure on the bolts so should (in theory) have better accuracy than the Steambow products. However now with the REVO7, which also have 7 & 12 shot exchangeable magazines, it seems to have the fastest cocking lever for quick follow up shots.. & follow up shots is just as important as accuracy maybe more so in close quarters like home defence. The Mey Interceptor should be shipping soon & I think the REVO7 comes out around Jan 2025. So depending on your needs for a crossbow, I’d say wait for now & see how the Mey Interceptor & REVO7 play out when released.. however having a magazine fed crossbow can only be an advantage over a single stack individual loading gate. Sorry that explanation was a bit long but I hope that answered your question… anymore & I’m happy to help 👍🏼
@@SparkyMTB Hey Sparky. Thanks for such a detailed reply, really appreciate it and I’m sure others who read will too. That makes total sense in terms of how accuracy would be effected. I’ve followed Steambow for some time but I think they need something new soon to keep up. I’m about to approach my wife and break the news that another £900 is going out the bank on bows imminently. Don’t worry though, I’ve got some nice flowers and a new bottle of perfume for her so everything should be ok - wish me luck! On a crossbow note, it’s always interesting to see how the durability and reliability play out with new technology isn’t it, but in this case I can’t wait and need to get involved right away. I’d imagine that because of how easy it is to fire that Revo, the issues most people will face are due to poor maintenance. Firing 12 shots as quickly as that over and over without lubing the rail/ waxing string etc, especially if people whack the 120lb straight on. I think 60-80 lb would be the sweet spot for it but will find out I guess Would be good to stay in touch and compare things when they arrive mate if that’s ok. Are you UK based? I’ll add my email to my profile 😁
@@SparkyMTB Hey Sparky. Thanks for the detailed reply, was really useful! I did write back to you however unfortunately it seems to have been removed pretty quickly. Considering it didn’t contain anything too bad, I’m quite suspicious of that! But to summarise I’m ordering the Revo shortly. I did have a few more questions though and wouldn’t mind using your expertise! My email is in my bio if that’s ok!
@@LukeRUclips-k6c yeah that happens to me also, where you write a message, send it but then it never saves / gets deleted for some reason.. glitch maybe or we’re being censored.. It’s nice having these conversations & yeah if you want to email instead we can do that 👍🏼
ja das est fantastiche, great video, i think people use to metal magazines, who throw them on the ground, in a quick magazine change, do not realise you can not do it with abs polymer. if you inflict abuse, it will break! maybe a spare magazine pouch, carried on the hip, to stash your empty quiver, in a magazine change, Danka Gerald :)
I just tried the new M 10. .when aiming, the shots all go low..I have to aim very high to get close to the target.?..It's normal. Thanks
To change that please mount the also included ghost ring sight as this one is catered more towards weaker limbs/heavier arrows or longer distances
I have a 1/4” torque wrench, do you have the manufacturers torque specs for the screws & bolts?
Is the red dot sight compatible with this model
Yes, that is also one of the main reasons the front unit can be removed, to optimise the line of sight.
how do i get a refund the pin doesnt line up at all 😢
and is any1 else finding the metal rods scrape on the bottom of the magazine n scratch it
Lol did you install the block backwards?
