Another excellent video. My current circular saw has become too heavy for my arthritic paws to manage and this little mitre saw looks just the business. Having had a look at it on a DIY site I decided to look for an independent review or two, and there you were again! And I'm buying it! Big thanks, Phill 😀

I have the same little saw for using when on installs Phill, it's a cracking little bit of kit for the money.

Bought this a few weeks ago on your recommendation. I only wanted / needed it for a few art projects and know nothing about DIY. Or traditional building but I have been very impressed with how easy it is to use and how much easier it is than trying to use a hand saw 😊

It’s a nice little saw and doesn’t owe you a dime, looks like it’s definitely paid for itself a few times

Great video, thanks. Would you say this is as loud as larger mitre saws? Specifically when cutting wood.

Great review, Phill. Sadly it looks like it’s out of stock everywhere in Somerset and Wiltshire!

Phill, I've just started using mine and have only just noticed that the blade rotation is pretty rough if I rotate the blade by hand ( unplugged of course). Is yours the same? I expected it to be smooth. Maybe it's the brushes. It cuts fine but I'm wondering if I have one with an issue. Great video thank you.

Hi Ashley, I didn't notice a problem with mine. It may well have been the same although it did work just fine. I now use a sliding version of this saw so no longer have this one to double check it.

Is the tool large enough to cut laminate?

    I can cut a wood 10x10cm?

I think it might be able to although that would be pushing it's limits I think. I wouldn't advise to cut something this thick on this machine personally.

You aren't supposed to use the dustbag when cutting metal.
