    Second season update. Summer 2020 Minimal rust appearing on some of the steel poles. Everything in good shape. 0 leaks in the liner. The family uses it almost every day. I expect the pool to last atleast 2 more years. I'm hoping the 2500gph pump will last the same. I clean the filter every week. Shock and new chlorine tablet once a week. Ladder is ok but a little wobbly for my 240lbs. Testing my new 4k 60fps camera. if you have any questions please leave in the comments. PLEASE LIKE and SUBSCRIBE

    You may want to add some intex plunge valves on the hoses. That way you can close the valves to change the filter easier.

    What adapters did you use for the 2 intake hoses and the return hose?

    Do you know if the intex prism pools can be used with saltwater systems? Or only chlorine?

    How do you keep your grass cut so nicely right next to the pool like that? :)

      Its very difficult, Very carefully using hand sheers and sometimes just pulling the grass out by hand lol

    Where did you get the pump? Nice setup. I only have the pump it came with and I need more power.

      i got the pump from ebay, but unfortunately there is a shortage of anything "about ground pool" related so the prices are sky high and difficult to find, Cannot even find a paper filter for less than $15. hold tight with your little pump, I sold mine for $179 on ebay lol it was worth 30 bucks last year, just use the little pump this year and hopefully prices and supply will be a lot better next year.

      the liner is blue color but I use Clorox brand Shock once a week. I buy it at walmart. Also the 3" tablets once a week. Keeps the water clear and I have never had any water quality issues.

    Did you put sand down?

    • @loobygoat
      @loobygoat  3 года назад

      I put 1 layer for weed(landscape) fabric and then a tarp. A lot of people say not to use sand. I believe it shifts once the pool is filled with water and causes the floor to be un even
