we had an air inflated 3,5m intex pool before. since we had no electricity in our garden, we didn't filter it, but the water kept acceptable quality for about 3 months (should be used for watering the garden regularly then, best is above a slope for the garden beds below it).
one more important point: the wall fixed summer waves filter is safer than the on ground standing intex filter that could be toppled by pets if not fixed well! (water + electricity=danger!)
I have had both. Intex is my favorite all around. We had a summer waves pool and it instantly began to fall apart after filling it. Even on level ground.
I’ve heard some say this about both pool liners. At the end of the day they are both soft sided pools with an expiration date to be determined. The question is, how long are you willing to wait before it becomes unusable. Both are the same in my opinion. One won In my opinion only because it cost less and needs nothing extra to make it swimable for the summer. We are using the Intex now. Summer waves got retired.
Dude intex is literally better cuz endless awesome add ons. Summer waves u gotta to break ur back to even keep it clean!
You own an Intex? That’s a good point. There may be more add ons. But we have had endless upgrading just to make the Intex work. In the end tho it’s a decent pool. But after upgrading the Summer Waves to a sand filter pump it’s a decent pool also.
